He had two at the ankles of wide open receivers on 3rd down.

I can only think of one or two. The long one to Jones, and a shorter one to Cooper that Sims threw at his ankles.

Jones dropped another and White dropped one. I don't remember how those drives went. May have scored a TD. May have scored a FG. May have punted. Idr.

Point stands. We made just as many mistakes as they did. We lost the TO battle. We had more penalties.

Because LSU's D schemes better against them. They play press man. Unless Jackson and Brown start (and Brown proves he can play press man) we're not capable of doing that.

You have no reason to believe he wouldn't complete it.
With "reports" saying that he consistently throws high and overthrows receivers, I will rest assured with Saban deciding not to play him against WVU

You mean like having to score in the upper 20's to beat a team with no QB?

And why does LSU get raped by anything resembling a pro-style offense? It's simple. Their guys are smaller and faster which is awesome for the spread HUNH. They then see the personnel for pro style and begin pissing their pants. We are the opposite which is why Arky scored a grand total of zero points in the last two meetings.

That was for like the first three days of practice. After that, everything said he settled in.

Ok so by adjusting the defense don't you feel that we give our team a better chance to win instead of relying on just outscoring them in a shootout?

I'm going to have to see our defense stop A&M before I'll believe it.

Don't we have the depth to adjust to whomever we play?

Yep, but as of right now we only have one guy who has proven he can play man at a high level. Jackson. And who knows how he'll play coming off his injury?

But it just isn't fair to say "Well if the D plays better the QB won't have to do much."

If the QB and offense scored more, the D wouldn't have to do much.

You can do it either way. BOTH should be at a high level. Not just one. You don't play good D and then be content with whatever the offense gives you.

I'm thinking someone doesn't understand what not capable means.

Everywhere but at ILB and Corner. We have young guys at Corner who may be able to completely change how we play HUNH, but they have to prove it.

We have no ILBs right now that I'm confident playing against HUNH. I think Ronnie Clark is gonna end up at ILB unless we can sign an athletic ILB.

But it has be proven time and time again. 92, 09, 11, 12 and Saban's 03 LSU team. Defense wins championships, just ask Oregon

Best way I know how to say it is this:

A&M in 2012 only scored 29 points on us because of Dee Milliner.

They scored 42 in 2013 because we had no Dee Milliner.

Defense does win titles, but you don't just stop at a great defense.

Last year's FSU team had the best O in CFB (imo) and the best D. It's a complete myth that you can't have both.

Yep. And two of those are Freshmen who haven't proven what they can do yet. One of them is coming off of injury. The other two are Safeties and can't do anything until we get corners who can play man against HUNH offenses.
