Just wait till they see what their window licking DC Todd Grantham trots out there tonight. Miami will go in dry on that arse...

Louisville has one of the most football ignorant fan bases in the country. A lot of them think that they're a top tier all time program. That's how bad they are. No one should care what they have to say about football.

we had them on the ropes in to the 4th at their place.

Clemson scored their last points of the game at the 7:28 mark of the 2nd qtr. & UGA proceeded to score the next 31 points in a row...

After Clemson missed a FG at the 4:28 mark of the 2nd qtr. they never advanced past their own 31yd line for the next 34:28 of the game...

Yup...Had UGA on the ropes in the 4th qtr...

Bobby Bowden and FSU joined the ACC specifically because it was a crap conference and easier to win in. Miami and Va Tech did much the same when the Big East began to disintegrate. ND has recently semi-joined the ACC for relatively easy wins and a semblance of conference membership due to the new CFP system.

Louisville's fans and most people nationally know that the ACC is, at best, the third best conference from an overall strength standpoint, and very likely are the 4th or 5th best conference.

frick 'em.

Clearly they've yet to experience the hopelessness that is 3rd-and-Grantham

That might be an interesting thing to see.

To be honest, Louisville has a distorted view of the SEC.
Their closest SEC schools are Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

They aren't the only ones saying it. A lot of pundits believe the PAC 12 is just as good this year.

They may be right, may be wrong. Who knows? We know for sure that the SEC doesn't have a monopoly on the championship argument anymore (thanks, Auburn).

There is no doubt in my mind that year in and out the SEC is the best conference. It has the best fan base and tradition.

There is also no doubt in my mind that teams exist in the SEC every single year that are overrated because they are in the SEC. They get the benefit of the doubt that others don't.

I have enough examples of both thoughts that it is pretty clear.

Without those benefits of the doubt (or $), UofL has done a solid job of building it's brand in the college football world over the past 2 decades. All things considered, UofL doesn't need to be ashamed of what they have accomplished. They have also consistently been under rated by the college football world.

Next up, they need to beat the 'Canes!

The Louisville board is going to think anyone but themselves is overrated.

If a loss shut a fan up, then we'd rarely hear from UK fans Sept thru Nov. How long has it been since you beat an SEC team? We're not even in your conference and have beaten at least 3 since you last beat one.

And if talking shite about a school that owns the series against you in both football and basketball shut a fan up, UofL fans would be mute.

We'll see how you fair with the wear and tear of a real conference.

There's no popcorn to it. They made their name on beating SEC East teams who are in down years and suddenly think they can talk shite about the SEC.

I've been looking at their boards since we're currently in a battle for a 5 star shooting guard with them and all I have to say is holy shite those people are delusional. I actually saw something about how now that they have Bobby back they'll be a perennial playoff team. And it wasn't just one dumb arse saying it, they were all in agreement. Kentucky fans, how do you deal with sharing the same state with that kind of delusion?

My issue w the hype is the "week in week out"notion. Sorry, but uk, vqndy, florida, miss st, ole miss, tn, and Arkansas are not any tougher than the mid and lower acc teams. They just aren't.
