WTF they did blow them out. And they did it with Marshall out for the first half. Quille was dominant, Artis-Payne ran for almost 200 yards, and Arkansas didn't score a point in the second half.

What about that win wasn't impressive?

Get out of my head.

Several LSU fans on here have been beating their chests about "blowing out" Auburn last year 35-21. But according to you, 45-21 isn't a blowout?

Thank you for clarifying why USC couldn't get a pass rush. For a while I thought it might have been the 3 very good DL they lost from last year. Silly me.

Trust me...put those three DL back on the team and Mr Hill would have been pressured just a tad more...not saying USC would have won...but they would have had much better pass rush.

wtf is a blowout these days? we beat them by 24. an sec team. 24 pts to any sec team is a blowout minus vandy or uk. once marshall came in we dominated im sure uga blew out clemson though

If our kicker made the 41 yard FG that hit the upright then we won by 27. I guess that still wasn't a blowout.

LSU- Tale of two halfs, broke in our QB in the second half. Very impressed with the WR's, run D was bad, but played the SECOND best RB in the country. Pass D is unbelievable and was missing the best cover man on the squad. DBU is still here.

FIFY

On UT - they looked good. Very much improved. Utah State was a popular upset pick. If the national feeling about UT State was even close to accurate, the Vols will spoil somebody's season this year.

Missouri lost a ton and it showed.

They're going to have to find different ways to generate and sustain offense.

IMO, the dismissal of DGB is going to really hurt. Mauk looked uneven, while the running game looked decent. It looks like the aerial attack is going to be WR-by-committee, as they try to develop and incorporate RBs and TEs into the mix as well.

Defensively, it's clear Markus Golden and Shane Ray will hold up their part of the bargain. Beyond that there's still not enough information to accurately assess the other position groups. Although it looks like they'll continue to generate turnovers with their ball-hawking ways. And they did do a really good job against the run, but against a Div-II, who knows.

I missed out on the prediction thread, but I've been thinking 8-4. And if anything I might go lower on that. But they've got three more OOC's to work out the kinks and develop strategies to adjust for their player losses.

Arkansas is better this year. But I think that Auburn is better this year as well

We didn't have the horses to stick with them for 4 quarters. We will get there.

And their damn WRs are sick.

I don't think either Auburn or Arkansas deserve disrespect after the game Saturday.

Auburn v Georgia to win the SEC would be my call at this point.

But note to Auburn fans you were tied with Arkansas in the third quarter, at home.

You really need to pump the brakes....best RB in the country? Why because he was playing against LSU?

Alabama was the biggest shock to me. Defense was owned by a sub-par team. If they convert a little more, it could have been an upset. It's not too far out to say: Almost heaven West Virginia!

What's up with Nick's specialty, his DBs. They're still not even looking at the ball. It's like Utah revisited. That would piss me off if I was a fan. Still can't do the basics? Really?

And Sims. Not that great. Coker no go? Will this team improve? Probably. But I think several SEC teams could have given the Tide all they could handle Saturday.

Ironically, the placekicker was the brightest thing the Tide showed.

And, now Auburn. Not as great as most Barnyarders are saying. Beer goggles still on? Did you see the Hogs slashing for big yardage in the first half. Your D is very suspect, too. A&M beats you in week one. Maybe others. Could get better with time. Just look at how they improved from week 1 of last season. That's something Tide fans can hope for as well. Young kids can improve. I'd still be concerned, both Alabama and Auburn.

And Auburn, your kicker sucks! Are you going to lose by a field goal in T-town?

LSU. I can see what a lot of people are saying about Les needs more, as in more early: that he's holding them back in the start of games. Maybe to a degree, but that does set the table. Interesting argument for sure.

You said what about UT? Okay, I'll give it a go. The Vols looked improved to me. They played a bunch of mormons, mormon light if you will, and those kids are always on a mission at the start of the season (pun intended). Usually well disciplined and in shape. But UT spanked them early and closed well. All of a sudden the Lane Kiffin reunion looks like a hillbilly jamboree for sure. 102 thousand screaming rednecks. Yeehaw! I'll be glued to the tube.

Texas A&M: I'm on the Sumlin bandwagon right now. I don't care how long it lasts. That celebration after the game, I love the underdog celebration. Hill may be better for Sumlin in that system because he's more of a true QB. They're both the real deal right now, QB and head coach. And, the Aggie D looks to be a little better. Not great, maybe not good, but I'll definitely go pretty good - at the very least. They were the most impressive team in week one.

Miss State. Not bad. Not bad at all. D looks tough. Offense does the job. The Hunchback of the Belltower is a wonderment for sure. Is he going to ring the bell this year or not? Don't know how he's going to handle the pressure. He loves to fold like a tent, but who knows this year? The reason, lots of talent over there.

Ole Miss. Not on their bandwagon like most people coming out of the gate. Like them, but not to the degree of what everyone was saying preseason. Still, they got the job done, but it was so boring my dog peed on the floor out of boredom. And, my K-9 is house broken. Go figure. They could wind up scary good, though.

Vandy. You suck.

That's all I got so far.

Oh, just this. It never gets old

Was a cool video. I understand they send these out to recruits.

Sumlin is doing it right. Very appealing to young guys. Major advantage we are enjoying in the state of Texas vs other schools here.

How can a young guy like Ricky Seals Jones, Speedy Noils, etc... not like something like this?

Auburn, your kicker sucks!
He doinked his first career FG attempt, so that means he sucks? The other successful FG,the 6 PATs, touchbacks on 7/8 KOs and a 53.3 yard punting average not enough to overcome being wide by a few inches on a 41-yarder?

I hope he continues to suck like that for the rest of the season.

Pretty good outlook. Gurley is the #1 RB in the nation.

Yes I agree with Gurley first and Gordon being second. And we were up 28-0 on Auburn so we did blow y'all out last year. y'all went into halftime tied up yesterday and pulled away late in the second half.
