Strange turn of events, but the games are anything but predictable. Onward!

In other words: Jefferson likes the techie so he's doing what he can to save him from being eliminated in the first week.

A competent leader would have let people know that captains are immune from removal. Or, that we actually have captains in the first place. But instead, we (the board as a whole, specifically the winners from this week) were told to nominate people to boot, yet one of the people nominated is actually not being booted.

Shady business here. smoke em if ya got em

WG vs. Jefferson in a battle royal

Miami vs. Louisville

Total score total 70 Over/Under
Do Petrino and Grantham get in to it on the sidelines.

How many yards will Miami put up on TG's Defense 450 Over/Under

Meh... Jeff takes the time to manage them so I'm cool with how things go. I'd rather someone "unfairly" stay than "unfairly" go, so whatever.

I'm also happy that I survived the first week, so I wouldn't complain anyway.

You're a dumbass.

This is essentially what happened last year, if you were paying attention, you would know that. Everyone chose two names with their picks. The top five of those will be chosen as captains.

Stop whining.

Onward.

who are the captains? I will be the first to apologize and admit my ignorance if I have misunderstood..but have any captains been named yet?

Everyone listed 2 captain nominations in the enlistment, so there's probably upwards of 20 different posters nominated for captains. How do we know who is ACTUALLY a captain? Also...it's simply common sense that there would have been a notification that captains could be spared in week 1. It's bush league and bullshite to say "oh, well...this guy who lost and should be gone is actually saved because he's a captain!" without letting people know that's a possibility beforehand.

you still dont get it....The Games cannot be understood. You are at Their Mercy. Trying to figure them out just puts you that much farther behind, as you well know.

So shouldn't it stand to reason that the 5 Untouchables should be known ahead of time? I'm pretty sure the winners wouldnt' nominate someone who has immunity.

so the rules are made up on the fly as we go...gotcha. I'd be careful if I were you..you could get eliminated for incorrect punctuation in the future. Anything goes!

You don't see how not doing so could make for an interesting twist? You have no creativity. I bet you're the first guy to call "foul" in pick-up games of basketball. Sheesh.

I see how it creates a veil between the host and the participants allowing the host to basically make things up as he goes.

not even remotely closes to an apt comparison. Being a tech fan I'm surprised you've ever even played organized sport before.
