Arkansas won 0 conference games last year and had almost 300 yards in the first half. There are plenty of teams who will give them trouble.

On this I think everyone can agree. The West is going to be a war.

Auburn struggled with unranked teams

Auburn won an SEC game by 24 points, & they didn't play Marshall in the 1st half.

Pretty much agree, but it's hard to reasonably compare Mississippi State and Ole Miss because of the disparity in their opponents.

Convenient that you leave out how the team started the game.

To be fair and accurate, Miss State should probably be 2nd after A&M.

MSU beat a team that was 1-23 the previous two seasons, losing by an average of almost 30 PPG, and expected to be even worse this year.

For a comparison, Boise (whom Ole Miss beat) beat Southern Miss 60-7 last year. Marshall beat them 61-13, North Texas and ECU 55-14 and Nebraska 56-13.

There is literally nothing impressive about beating them, no matter the score.

LSU being that high is a joke. Play like that against a team that can play any kind of offense and LSU looses that game by 14

Theres a 6-way tie for first, then there's Arkansas.

Our opponent was Ranked #14. And you do realize having an elite rushing attack equates to offense, right? Fawking idiot

that ranking (for whiskey) was bullshite as your bullshite offense proved. LSU will lose a number of games this year because of your offense.

Last two years? It's a new year. Look at Virginia ucla. State looked damn good, regardless of who they played. It's close between State and Auburn for 2nd, IMO.

Ellis Johnson obliterated that program. 12-2 in 2011 in Fedora's last year to 0-12? One and done.

6-6 FAU looked damn good against Southern Miss too.

The only thing we could have possibly taken from that game would have been had MSU NOT beaten them mercilessly.

Okay. 2 Tds and no interceptions does not indicate our offense will lose us "many games".

I feel the same way after week one as I felt before it. Any team in the SEC West can win the division except Arkansas. No one will go undefeated in the Division. Depends on who has the least injuries as the season plays out and who gets the breaks in the tight games. The teams are very close in ability.

If this is going to enter the equation then LSU was missing some crucial players as well. With Porter, RR, and Bain back we will look different especially on Oline.
