Against USM sure. When we play a team with good return guys I want it in the end zone

Either way it's still discouraging we couldn't punch it in.

Pass protection broke down several times as well.

I agree, but it did make me feel better about our OL when I saw that.

Personally, I hated the formation that we used after the interception. Going toe to toe brings a lot of congestion into the box. Even if it works against USM, it isn't likely to work against anyone from the SEC.

I was pleased with the 49-0 victory. During the second half I began to feel for USM. Score easily could've (should've) been in the 60s. I was very very disappointed in the Offense Line. For many of the offensive possessions USM dominated our line. No reason Dak should be sacked against a team like that.

Eh, IMO they were due to bad reads by Dak. When you only have 5 guys blocking and they blitz, you have to make the read to keep it and run, or get rid of the ball. Honestly the wet field is really shitty in that situation too, it's amazing how much slower your feet move.

The line looked as good as I expected for week one, only saw a few situations where we missed assignments.

In one case he was going to step around the rusher, and he went down. I don't know if he slipped on the field or what, but I think he was a bit shocked when he went down.

Matt Wyatt's breakdown this morning was really good. It's not as bad as it seems on the sacks or the failed goal line possession.
