agree with op...sc d caught flat footed it was hot as hell out there ...no rush so me and booger want to see him under pressure...slightest pressure rattled kenny he was skeered ...makes sense with his slight build...int sack machine waiting to happen...tam coaching staff noticed this and told him u get under pressure check to the rb...

That's what I'm saying. The matchup won't be the same. SC has a MAC level DL. We don't. We have an elite DL. As good as there is in the conference, or country really. We also have better athletes in the secondary. LBs are pretty close.

But aTm looks pretty frickin' good.
On offense, they look strong. Defense is still shite, looking slightly better but still, shite. But, that is all based off of one game, time will tell.

And even Spurrier conceded that in his post game press conference.

What game were you watching? Kenny didn't get pressured a lot, but when pressure came, he handled it like a seasoned veteran.

A&M seems to have an extremely talented offense. I'm frankly not impressed by Kenny Hill. He missed multiple wide open throws, and made a few dangerous ones. A better quarterback would've dropped 70 on this team. If they do beat team with better defense (alabama, LSU), it will be because of the talent offensively, not because of Kenny Hill.

What the frick.
He went 44-60 for 511 yards.

That's an honestly great troll. Congrats! 73% completions, 511 yards, 14 players with receptions, 5 receivers with over 50 yards, and you're not impressed.
OK, then

I was at work during that game and my buddy came by and showed me Hill's stats on his phone. My first thought was, Kevin Sumlin is legit and I take back any doubts I had about him.

You're "frankly not impressed" by a true soph making his first ever start completing 44 of 60 passes to 12 different receivers for 511 yards (Aggie record and 5th highest single game total in SEC history) and 3 TDs w/ 0 INTs on the road in front of 80K+ screaming fans of the team with the longest home winning streak in college football?
OK.
OK.

I didn't have a favorite between Hill or Kyle Allen, but I did say all along that I trusted whoever Sumlin picked to be QB1. The man has crazy success with QBs.
Hopefully Hill can keep it up. No more am bushing opponents, that's for sure. Impressive as hell start, though. I'm a pretty optimistic Aggie, but I damn sure would never have called Hill casually strolling into a tough road environment and breaking JFF's school record in his first start

No one saw that coming. Great game plan, aggressive, and utilizing all that talent on offense A&M possesses. Solid.

Now comes the hard part: following that up.
As good as the offense appears to be once again, that defense needs to tighten the screws a little more before we can compete long term.
Nice to come out and answer some of those post-Johnny questions right off the bat though.

Had to go back and read that twice.
Didn't make any more sense the second time, on the off chance you were wondering
