so uh...UCLA's offense may blow but their defense wins them this game. I can't see UVA even scoring 18 more points
Meanwhile, the Midshipmen are up 7-6 late in the 2Q. This now becomes the primary game

TD Hoos!
Always had a soft spot for UVA - although I am partial to UCLA as a (distant) #2 Pac-12 team.
21-10 UCLA with10-ish seconds left in the first half.

Wow, UCLA gave up a bad TD there.

UCLA's O-line ...

Also there are some upsets brewing
Iowa is leading UNI 24-20
NDSU is leading ISU 17-14
GaTech is leading Wofford 10-9
Youngstown State leading Illinois 9-7
GaSouthern is leading NCSU 17-3
All games in 3Q

so, ISU now trails by 13 to NDSU.
It's already not looking good for the Big 12. I thought this might be the year they break through and win more P5 OOC games than they lose to FCS schools. Last year it was 2 or 3 to 1. I can't remember. I think it was closer in 2012. Maybe 2 to 2.

the route is on in Ames...it's 34-14 NDSU late in the 4th
I really thought Paul Rhoads was a good coach who just needed talent. It's obvious I'm wrong because there is no way you can consistently lose to FCS opponents if you are a good coach. Flukes happen, but ffs

first game jitters and all but yeah, you'd think they'd look better. I don't expect much from WVU but maybe they are decent
Meanwhile on the plains, Arkansas just moved at will vs Auburn. 7-7 early

First game jitters are real things. UCLA knows

Yeah I'm switching between those two. Arkansas line looks legit

I don't think either Ark or Aub's defenses are going to be spectacular this year.
Not that A&Ms will be, but they both look susceptible.

I really like watching Holgo's offenses. He's very creative. He uses motion and misdirection, especially in the run game, far better than we do imo.
It looks gimmicky at times because of it. But it almost seems a cross between us and Auburn. I think Spav may break some of that out later but there was zero reason to open up the playbook against SC. They couldn't stop our base package at all.

"Susceptible" is being kind, both look every bit as bad as ours last year.

Auburn does indeed look like A&M '13. They are being destroyed at the LOS by Arky. Not sure who all they lost. That one DE that ate us up is gone I know and I think Lawson is out for the season
