Only way I see us being rustled is if our defense regresses from last season (if possible) or doesn't show any improvement.

I remember that, but there was a separate thread that got started around halftime while yall were down. OP basically called it a year and say OM was fricked 
It got bumped a LOT after the game and for a few days after that, it may have gotten whacked. The title changed so many times and I can't remember who the OP was

Previous comments are correct. The only rustle would come with a blowout/lack of defensive improvement.

None of our losses compared to the melt after the JFF autograph scandal came out
And to the Agsessed OP the only way I'll be melting is if we lose 34-10 or 48-13 or some shite. I think most expect us to lose. If it's within 10 points or so and we do some things well and show some promise I'm not gonna be that upset

Yeah that was really bad as well. I was so hammered I don't think I was even posting on here/could functionally work a computer but I've read through that thread

Aside from LSU last year we haven't had a really bad loss yet. All of our SEC losses have been close to really good teams aside from that one. If we have some losses like we had in 2010 or 2011 this place will go nuts

I know that the pundits do, but I haven't gotten this impression from the aTm fanbase, at all. Maybe y'all are just playing Interwebz, but I really do get the impression most of you expect to win this game.
I honestly have no idea what to expect. I think USC will score a lot of points, but I think aTm will, too. I *think* USC will win, as it's a home game. Were this at College Station, I would probably think aTm would win it.

I believe OM would melt the hardest. This is supposed to be their year to really step up win 10 games or whatever. Losing to Boise just kills the whole season. I could see USCe losing and then running the table. Very Spurrier like.

No it doesn't. Boise isn't like losing to Jacksonville State where you don't recover. Boise has had a better program than OM the past ten years.

As many folks have brought up y'all's propensity for starting sluggish, TAMU has a long history of stubbing our toe in the season's first big game.
