Tailgating DT isn't really worth it IMHO. TV? Not needed for this game. Kickoff is at 5:30. There aren't many games worth watching. Bama vs WVU? 3:30 but I don't expect it to be good. Auburn vs Arkansas? By the time you get too far in, you need to be getting your arse to the stadium. Watching the night games at a bar is fun though. AC? Overrated if you can find some shade.
On a sidenote, I've come to the conclusion recently that the DT experience is overrated in just about every way. I lived DT for years and I had fun, but I guess it all just added up to me being indifferent now that I've gone out and done some other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I'll be out Friday and Sat night, but it just does't get me excited in any way. I told someone earlier I was more excited about sitting by myself under a tree in the shade and drinking beer Saturday all day than dealing with all the BS from a night out during the weekend.

Oh, I agree, I watch as many as is possible but the only one I'd be likely to watch of those are UCF vs Penn St (starts at 8:30 in the morning) and Ark vs Aub and then I'll be walking into the stadium. I'd much rather be wandering around, meeting new people, and trying new food rather than staying inside a dark bar spending $$$.

it looks like i will be downtown thursday and saturday nights. i have an odd weekend planned that involves me actually missing the game and being in atlanta at that time due to another commitment. i dont wanna talk about that.
the plan is to make it downtown for some post game celebratory shenanigans. will make stops at the bury, mags, sandbar, and boars head if i had to guess. those same places are also on the itinerary thursday night. 100 proof, whiskey, bourbon, silver dollar are all possibilities depending on drunkenness. im still young enough to pull those off.

Everything was a go for Saturday was renting a bus with some UGA and Taters... (Tater making the arrangements) Well they had an emergency at the plant so that shot all of that to hell... But I will be in Columbia in 2 weeks...
