We haven't had a good defense against the run in 5 years, until they show me otherwise I'm not going to count on the defense. I thought they couldn't get worse after 2011 they did, we improved in all but one area defensively last year but that wasn't hard to do over 2012. The word on the street is much improved vs the run but against the pass we've improved in defending big plays but overall pass defense is only slightly better. No clue if true but that's the rumor.
I'm not remotley worried about losing this game but I suspect it could be closer than people think. We didn't blow out a single team last year that was decent, I want us to but I'm waiting and seeing.

We were #1 inthe SEC against the run in 2010. It was pretty much the only thing we did well on D

Roberts did not surprise me. He's a natural field Safety with his length and range.
