the scoring system in skewed towards QBs. I thought I could get Manning at 8 and maybe even 12. I got stuck drafting Lacy. Then Brees went off the board and all hell broke loose. I couldn't take Rodgers at 12 though.

In the end I had to reach for Ryan in the 4th hoping he can break the 45 TD mark. I think he may this year with Julio healthy.

there will be four or five qbs that score big points in this league. I hope mine is one. (Stafford)

That was a lot of fun and fast. Being a newbie I could not participate in the smack talking as I was trying to keep up.

However in the post draft review of the smack talk, I noticed a few comments that lead me to believe the some of my fellow drafters were chagrined at a few of my picks. I take that as a good sign.

But, please review my draft, and pull no punches.

Note that I had a cooler of beer at my feet and a couple of jars for pissing cause I wasn't leaving.

After looking at the projected points for the first week my team is in last. That means yall are fricked. I'm going in dry on you Whopper, sorry you have to be my first victim. Fortunately, you won't be the last. .

I haven't even looked at your team but dead last in projected points is a big mtn to climb.

It's the first week, and it's a difference in like 10 points first to last. Like I said, I'm good. Hell I've hiked a 14er before. No mountain is to high.

All right, someone please explain adding, dropping players and waivers.

We had 6 bench player spots which I filled with offense. Then I drafted 3 d players. It classified one of them as a bench player and one open d spot. Tried to add a player, couldn't, then tried to add and drop a player with mixed results.

I am all ears.

Your d is fine. You need to put your db in the right spot.

You can put any position at D. Lb, safety, whatever.

You have to put a S or corner at DB spot.

THE WAIVER WIRE IS KEY

ya can drop players and pick up free agents along the way.. i think 1PM Sunday is cutoff to add/drop players and then you are in limbo till Tuesday or Wed?

example: que players to get from the waiver wire Sunday Monday Tuesday... they are added to your team wed morning... thursday friday sat anything goes... waiver order is according to who is waxing arse (i think) and who is not

i believe its good to be active on the wire..but i dunno b/c we picked 18 rounds..
