The radio guys are putting a press on for him. 2nd in the NFL in sacks through the preseason.

This is the equivalent of the being the 3rd guy to work in the mornings; preseason stats mean shite.

Report is out that Josey got cut.

Hopefully he will get picked up, I thought
he was in good shape.

Well I was hopeful. I get stats and all but I'm not sure what else a guy could do to make a team. Sick of the NFL truthfully. They play guys with measurables that can't produce.

Someone will pick Josey up. Eagles had a ton of good backs, but it was still a dumb move

Although I bet the Eagles are hoping no one picks him up so they can put him on the practice squad.

NFL is all about measurables.

Lots of guys get passed over for a reason. Josey looked legit to me though, the only concern I see is his durability.

Between the flags and reviews, the NFL is barely watchable anyway. I'd like to see SD get him as that's really the only team I watch

I know I'm supposed to hope these kids do well, and I do, but I can't help but see some poetic justice in Josey going undrafted and getting cut.

The guy made a really dumb decision to leave, I can say this with confidence because there are just soooo many reasons it was a bad choice.

I don't think it was a great decision, but I completely understand why he did it. The fact that he didn't graduate bothers me a bit.

If he can catch on somewhere and be a Sproles type back, it will be worth it for him. Even if he's practice squad for a year.

Josey will be ok in he long run if he plays his cards right.

Selfishly I would have loved for him to stay since this team could desperately use his leadership.

No offense, but to say a bad outcome is "poetic justice" just stinks.

Without Henry Josey Mizzou doesn't win the East, doesn't play in the SECCG or Cotton Bowl. No Top 5 finish.

I wish he would would have stayed, but Josey has earned nothing but good will and good karma in my book.

I get why he did it and I'm proud to have said he was a Tiger and will go down as one of my favorite stories among others, but I still think it was a mistake. Will he be ok? Sure he will. But do I think he could have improved his chances with another year and showing he's not fragile? I do but I could obviously be wrong.

Moving forward. 2 hours to game time!!!!!!!

My only question is at 5'8" and the way RB's are devalued in the NFL, would his draft stock improved that much for next year? My question is, as a UDFA, why choose Philly when they had 4 backs with NFL experience? From what I'm reading, he didn't make it because there just wasn't room for him. Maybe choosing a different team offer and he sticks.

Poetic justice, are you freaking kidding me? Josey was a huge part to us going to the SECG and winning the Cotton Bowl last year. He had the terrible injury where he would never play football and he fought and made his way back and you're happy to see him get cut? The decision for him to leave was not dumb at all. Josey has already proved that he can play by what he's done in college and what he did in the preseason. The reason he got cut was because NFL teams think he's too small and that wouldn't change no matter how well he did at Mizzou this year. Plus he's got a kid that he has to take care of. I would have loved to have Josey stay but it was not at all a dumb decision to leave.
