Scratch that, apparently he did apologize to the "true Auburn fans" but not the "haters". Didn't catch that until I looked it up just now. LINK

For goodness sakes Barners - in the end they were just trees you threw toilet paper onto.

Dude got 5 years probation, banned from all college sporting events for life and had to pay an $ 800,000 restitution. Justice served. Get over it already.

It would be a lot more fun to see him get dunked in a patch of poison oak. And Auburn fans could apologize.

FWIW, it is good that he has apologized even though I don't think he would have come clean had he not been caught.

And in the end he is a cancer to humanity. He let a game enable him to take away something that brought joy and happiness to hundreds of thousands. Maybe you should just accept the fact he's a piece of trash and a waste of human resources.

And of course pictures with him, but he's proclaimed a pariah by Alabama fans.

"He knows there's going to be a lot of Auburn fans there, but he doesn't care," Elva Updyke said. "He's 65 years old. What are they going to do to him? They'll have security there.

Looks like Updyke has yet realize Auburn fans are not cut from his cloth.

He forgave Auburn for everything they did to him, though.

Yeah, the odds of him being assaulted by an AU fan are slim to none. O/U on how long the murder of an AU fan that blew up Bryant's statue would take?

Speaks a lot about a fan base claiming moral superiority over Updyke.

This is true but I don't think it was what was going on in his mind at the point when he called Finebaum. I can't remember...did he actually turn himself in?

I don't have to claim it, my actions do. I don't adhear to a religious doctrine, so not acting forgiving towards him doesn't make me a hypocrite. I see him and his ilk for what they are, a damaged makeup of cells, DNA, and experience.
