I do believe their team will be good this year, but I still think their D will take a step back with it's losses. The talent behind their starters just isn't there yet. They've lost some serious key notes.

I don't know if Webb can hold'em together back there?
Their offense will need to find a replacement for Marcus Lucas, L’Damian Washington and Dorial Green-Beckham at reciever and LT Justin Britt is a big loss for their team.
That's just to name a few areas of concern my friend. Not to say it's not possible for them to beat us but those losses are huge.
We pushed their team with mostly high schoolers last year. If we show up with all of our guys it will be another 2012.
Hopefully by then our secondary has it's kinks worked out and are like heat seeking missiles. If not I'd bet our front seven gets just enough pressure to make it go our way.
I won't bore you by talking about our depth on offense after a year of playing without our starters.
It really goes to experienced talent and they don't have it "yet". Their team is in the same position we were in last year.

We lose to SouCar. THEY win the SEC East, losing only 1 game, but winning the tie breaker against us, but get beat for the SEC Championship. We, on the other hand lose just the one game and go to the playoff.

It's kind of sad but if we play tOSU I really kind of believe that's what will happen.

what reason would you have for possibly thinking that?
They just lost their best player and they only have 2 moderately difficult games all year. If we go into it 13-0 we will be a far, FAR more tested and accomplished team. There's really no reason on paper to think they would beat us, unless you're scared that urban meyer is their coach.

You know Braxton Miller is out for the season right? Not going to happen as OSU is not going to even going to win the Little 10.
If UGA lost to OSU in huge game, ya'll know we would NEVER EVER EVER live that down. I mean our Grandkids would be made fun off daily by the Gumpers, the Barners and the Chompers......

Yep, I've got our game in little rock as slightly more difficult than our games hosting UT and GT. I feel strongly that the gambling lines will completely back up that assertion.
Don't get me wrong, the gap between those three is small, but with the home field being taken into consideration I honestly expect to blow out UT and GT.
UT returns zero starters on behind offensive AND defensive lines. They will suck arse this year. Maybe go 6-6.
Georgia Tech is our playtoy and will field a pretty poor team this year (even for them).
Not saying Arkansas is gonna be good, just think we have a higher chance of struggling out there.

You're right about everything in that post but it didn't stop Urban Meyer from running up the score on us when we've been better on paper than Florida. I realize it's a different situation but we lost to Florida in 2010 which was far and away the worst team he fielded there. I know it's still different...I just hate the idea of playing that dude.

That didn't matter. What did matter was that little bit of doubt in Georgia's head. Losing to UF most years I think became almost purely psychological. I know as a fan watching those games I had it. When Brandon Spikes met Knowshon Moreno in the hole and absolutely pile drived him into the ground on the first play from scrimmage in '08.....psyched out before it even started.
So with the long winded answer, the demons from UF and Urban Crier have been exorcised.
At OSU, Meyer will never have a team with loaded with SEC talent like Tebow, Spikes, Harvin, et al.

Call me crazy but i think we can go undefeated. I believe this team has better luck starting outside the top 10, it eases the pressure a little. Clemson wont be a breeze but the toughest games this year will be auburn and the seccg. The only spot to stumble are those two and maybe cocky. Probably bama in the seccg but they have the unproven qb right now but all he has to do is manage the game and dont frick it up. If we stumble to uscjr i think we back into one of the four playoff spots. Since im in knoxville now if we lose to UT ill have to murder most of my coworkers.......may do that anyway though

Arkansas plays Bama the week before us and I think we face a team that is beaten up and licking their wombs and then we curb stomp them back into the cellar of the SEC. I agree on the Mizzou game cuz they have a bye week before us. I say loss to USCe and maybe Florida. I'm drinking the kool aid and I think we could win any and every game but I can't get my hopes up yet. Want to see how we look week one against clemson
