It is very interesting the dichotomy between people who are in red vs purple. This meeting seems to be very supportive of the ordinance as opposed to the last meeting.

The most valid arguments tonight have been by people pointing out that civil rights laws are never enacted by a majority for the benefit of a minority via referendum.
Yet every purple person has supported sending the vote to the public. Still, if it went to the public, I think it would pass. I honestly believe Fayetteville's liberals and gays are better organized than its Conservative churches.
