That is an interesting correlation of not-as-good SEC teams and less penalties, with Bama being the exception.

often times the ref's allow bama to have 13 men on the field. ive seen it.

The bias is obvious. If your team sucks or your team has enough crazy fans to scare the refs you won't get called for penalties.
