I think our AD should be shown the door, but it has nothing to do with a soft drug, or the enforcement of a rapidly dying prohibition.

And I would certainly never refer to a drinker as a "frickING DRUNKARD", so it seems weird to me that you refer to cannabis users as "frickING POTHEADS" like you're a caricature of Richard Nixon.

OK, why then? Seriously. Basketball sucked? That can't be it - A&M basketball has almost always sucked.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to add the frickING adjective or make it all caps, as I did neither. But that's OK. I'm not angry, I just can't figure out why people want to fire the AD of one of the most successful athletic departments in the country.

I never said he was doing a terrible job. I just think he butts heads with our one successful coach while refusing to do his job and resurrect our basketball and baseball programs. Change is needed in these areas. If he isn't the guy to get that done, then I want someone in there who can.

I think the consensus is Kennedy and Childress are both on the hot seat, which they should be. I know a lot of Aggies wanted them fired THIS year. Oh well.

I dunno anything about butting heads with Sumlin. I mentioned it earlier, but as far as I know this is 100% speculation from hothead posts at Texags.

What has Hyman shown since he's been hired? I'm hesitant to credit him with football success and renovated facilities since these are largely due to decisions made before his hiring (the Sumlin hire, the SEC move).

Don't pretend to know the ins and outs of the athletic dept, but he's only been with us 2 years, right?

Yes, but I'm saying that waving off the stagnation in non-football sports with "who cares, S-E-C" is giving him wholly undeserved credit.

I've no idea what this is about.

That is about how Hyman, in the midst of the Manziel saga, went to the media and blabbed about the intimate details of a private conversation in a way that was embarrassing for Johnny, his family, and the university and completely unbecoming of his position. There was no need for that. If the AD has a Come to Jesus conversation with a player, what was said in that room needs to stay between them. Hyman is an unprofessional hack who wanted to be part of the story.

Yes. I conducted a very thorough survey on the subject. The results were conclusive.
