Somewhat agree, only because we have won all of the games we were supposed to.

But disagree- look at games like Bowling Green, La Tech, Kentucky, Troy... we looked like shite

I think we had some pretty shitty team leadership from 11-12. I think guys like Chris Jones, Dak, Lewis, etc. can make a huge difference in those types of games. At least motivation wise.

Well I will say that there are no games on the schedule that I can say we just have zero shot at. So that's pretty exciting.

We're not going 8-4 fellas. You can take that one to the bank.

If we lose one of the bullshite games then we will go 6-6. We're not going to be 8-4.

Are you guaranteeing at least 9 wins?

No, I'm saying that if we lose 4 games, we'll probably end up losing 6.

Basically my point is that we are not a middle of the road team this year. Dak goes down, we win 6. Dak stays healthy we win 9.

8-4 with losses to LSU / OM / Auburn / Bama

No games will be blowouts and the egg bowl will be a bloodbath

I think this is our schedule if Dak stays healthy.

Sat, Aug 30 vs Southern Miss W

Sat, Sept 6 vs UAB W

Sat, Sept 13 @South Alabama W

Sat, Sept 20 @#13 LSU Toss up

Sat, Oct 4 vs #21 Texas A&M W

Sat, Oct 11 vs #6 Auburn Toss up

Sat, Oct 25 @Kentucky W

Sat, Nov 1 vs Arkansas W

Sat, Nov 8 vs UT Martin W

Sat, Nov 15 @ #2 Alabama L

Sat, Nov 22 vs Vanderbilt W

Sat, Nov 29 @#18 Ole Miss W

I say we go 10-2. Had Dak been healthy and played the entire egg bowl last year I don't think the game would have been close. Ole miss returns most of their players and we do the same. Things that change from last year are: they will gain homefield advantage and we will gain Dak. I think having Dak back is better than the homefield advantage.

If Dak goes down I see the schedule as:

Sat, Aug 30 vs Southern Miss W

Sat, Sept 6 vs UAB W

Sat, Sept 13 @South Alabama W

Sat, Sept 20 @#13 LSU L

Sat, Oct 4 vs #21 Texas A&M toss up

Sat, Oct 11 vs #6 Auburn L

Sat, Oct 25 @Kentucky W

Sat, Nov 1 vs Arkansas W

Sat, Nov 8 vs UT Martin W

Sat, Nov 15 @ #2 Alabama L

Sat, Nov 22 vs Vanderbilt W

Sat, Nov 29 @#18 Ole Miss L

Hopefully Dak stays healthy.

I'm more worried about Arkansas than OM. Not even a joke, the fast paced offenses aren't our biggest concern with Collins running the D IMO.

If someone told you we would go 10-2 right now with losses to Southern Miss and Ole Miss, would you take it?

I say damn right and pull the whole "we've got bigger fish to fry than in-state schools."
