See this is actually my issue: a lot of LSU fans have chalked up the game in the Swamp as a loss even though we're facing a team that was 4-8 last year. Most Florida fans likely wouldn't even mind conceding a loss in that game considering they can still have a successful season otherwise, yet some people are still scared of going to the Swamp even though Georgia Southern won there last year.
lmao really? So just because something occurred last season, it will occur again this season. What the hell type of logic is that? This is NEW season.

If you're asking if Mustchamp is still your coach then yes.

Like dmb said, most are in a 'wait and see' approach. Too many OCs, poor player development and raised hopes in the past few years to be sure of success.
But I don't think a winning season is unreasonable if the team is healthy. I trust the defense to be strong once again and to save the offense when they need it.

He was also our coach the last time y'all came to the Swamp.

He wasn't really troll-y. For non-UF fans who don't follow the team closely, his opinion is not unreasonable.

What's so annoying to me about this off season is you have all these people that keep saying:
"but... but... 4-8, and Georgia Southern... derp..."
When in truth they know NOTHING about Florida from 2013 and NOTHING about Florida for 2014.
Florida fans have been saying all year - the team on the field in the 2nd half of 2013 won't look anything like the team that takes the field in 2014.
#1. Starting QB will be back.
#2. Both starting tackles will be back, and the OL as a whole will be healthier.
#3. WAY WAY BETTER at TE.
#4. Far more talented WR corp.
#5. UF's all SEC KR is healthy and returning to the team.
#6. Way more depth and better health on the defensive line and at LB
I mean, UF is poised to be better in literally every phase, and better at every unit on the field on both sides of the ball, except for maybe the secondary, where they will still be damn good.
Even if the coaching hire doesn't make a huge difference and UF doesn't improve because of practice or anything like that, UF is going to be significantly improved for one reason, THEY ARE HEALTHY.

I can't wait to see McGee in action.

me either, he's gonna be a good one.

A lot of fans from other teams in the conference don't even know he exists. If he and Jeff stay healthy, we are going to be hearing both names a lot next season.

He is going to be a huge difference maker.
And I love how GAg fans just KNOW what is going to happen with the offense. Cute.
I don't know what is going to happen, but I'm feeling a good year. The team is so far healthier since I can't even remember when.
Go Gators!

You've heard it here first: losing to Georgia Southern at home is not indicative of the state of the program.

They also got smacked by South Carolina.

Listen genius, it was indicative of many problems that UF had in 2013. 2013 was last year. And as all rantards as yourself always forget, a lot can change in the course of one season.
And so I guess if one game is indicative of the direction of a program, then we should look at the HORRIBLE QB performance in the bowl game and say that LSU will barely be able to complete a forward pass in 2014 and they will never beat Ole Miss ever again...
