So speedy would have just sat on the bench at LSU bc y'all don't run a spread?

For a realistic look at the type of contribution Speedy could have made in LSU's offense, look at what two similarly sized, similarly athletic players did: Russel Shepard and Odell Beckham Jr.

That would basically be floor and ceiling. (He may end up being better than Beckham, but I'm comfortable saying his ceiling is a guy drafted in the first round.)

ETA: I know you asked that question in the first place though because so many people don't look at it realistically.

Of course not but I can guarantee you he wouldn't have touched the ball half as much as he will at A&M.

Why do the two even need to be compared? It's a total non-sequitur in this thread.
Don't act like LSU fans are the only reason threads go to shite when Noil is mentioned. A&M fans been a flag-bearer with the 5 for 5 flaming.

So, you're telling me he's somewhere between being drafted in the first round and not being drafted at all?

Wow. That really narrows things down. Riveting stuff.

Yeah, a floor of never really panning out, spending almost as many games suspended as active, being a mediocre locker room guy and still making an nfl roster is just like every other guy that I could have thrown out there.

Just stop. I'd rather Malachi every day but speedy is a helluva athlete any offenses would utilize. Why am I not shocked this thread isn't about Dee anymore?

Good ole recruiting and the fickle nature of the term commitment.
