Not true at all.
While I knew who he was, I just hadn't heard his football commentary until ESPN College Gameday.
I have zero opinion on him, tbh.

This. During football season last year I listened to snippets of his show when I was in the car on sirius XM. I could never take more than a few minutes of it because the callers were all complete and utter morons. Finebaum just lets em go on and on.
This is probably the genius of his show. he has to develop zero content. he just says something to enflame one portion of the fanbase and let the good times begin. if its a slow day, or any day really, all he has to do is say something (anything) about bama and the board fills right up.
Im not sure Finebaum actually knows that much about football.

I'm considering calling in today. I called in last Friday and bitched about how Nick Saban said the spread offense killed six high schoolers last year before predicting Mississippi State to go undefeated and win the national championship.

I have not heard one second of that show in probably 7 or 8 years. Its a shame too because Finebaum would have some great guests on and he is a great interviewer but those callers are intolerable.

I listen. Only called couple times over years. Since on secn I think more LSU. Calls will force our way into lineup.

I called years ago when he was on in b'ham. Someone had OD'd at a WSP show and he said "there's probably no one who listens to them listening to us, but call if you do"
I called. I went on the air after the commercial break to space wrangler backing music. We discussed the panic show.
