On paper Rumph should be a great WR and I hope this extra time in the system benefits him. What mason just said in an article that he didn't even trust Rumph to run the right route or be in the right place last season. But now he does so hopefully they can create some plays downfield. I would be more confident if Mitchell was out there

Murray was a redshirt freshman. Mason is a 5th year senior. Not really apples to apples there.

Didn't say it was apples to apples, but I have heard these comparisons of Hutson with a Red shirt senior and just get tired of people saying he isn't Aaron Murray, we should just let him be Hutson Mason.

It is not fair to compare a guy with two starts to a 4 year starter.

Just so everyone knows I don't care if he throws for 5 yards a game as long as we win.

Speaking of TE, what is the latest on Rome? If Rome is limited I can see Uncle Jeb being AllSEC as a Freshman in this offense.

Rome is back to 100%. Barring any injuries sustained this week, he'll start.

Thanks Crispy that answers 99.9 percent of my concerns. The only other concern I have is why Deloach is starting over Drew, especially after seeing how easily Wynn blew him off the line during drills.

This is extremely good news. Rome is an elite TE. He can be a huge weapon for us and Mason seems to be extremely accurate with a nice touch on the type of outlet pass a TE is utilized for.

I'm getting excited about our o-line for some reason. They hype on Pyke has me drinking the kool-aid. Andrews is solid, and if Theus and Houston can hold their own I think we could be a top 5 OL this year in the SEC.

Yeah man excited about Pyke and Theus getting his shot at LT. Also comfortable with Kolton 1a and Watts 1b at RT.

I'm proud of Bowman for earning the starting spot if indeed that's the case. He got buried under the Greyhound bus after the Mizzou game. Fenteng, Parrish, and Green should see plenty of snaps with the 4-2-5 being the primary set against Clemson.

If that's the case we will win the East. It's still possible if they are just outside top five level, but if they gel into a consistent unit we're gonna have a fun season.

From a poster on another board...

At the TD club meeting yesterday, Pruitt said 2 DBs got into a scuffle and he made them run 40-40 yard dashes or they were off the team. Towards the end they were struggling and Gurley and a few others came in and finished it up with them.

Dammit I love this team!

Gurley should run for Atlanta mayor. he would have the power to bring and retain a 3rd NHL franchise in Atlanta and to put the new Braves stadium on top of the current Tech campus where it belongs (he would personally reimburse UGA for the rent we would be losing by bulldozing Sanford West, because he's just that good of a guy).

Yes

Wait, why would he abuse his power for something so sinister? We already are getting fricking MLS. Maybe he can sabotage that.

I like that. And then bulldoze the rest of campus for tailgating.

I like that. It really does hurt the ATL alumni. We can draw from GT's endowment and reimburse extra gas expenditures.
