We now have a higher caliber athlete and JW is not that. Gus is playing the better players.

We're talking about the damn place kick holder, people, not starting QB. If nothing else, the kid deserves that.

If he just can't well enough, that's one thing, but I have a hard time believing that.

Actually we are talking about the backup place holder. He is behind a true freshman.

Read this, pages 9-12

I believe this is up to date.

I'm surprised Mackenro has fallen so far back.

Can Therezie redshirt if he's looking at more than a 6 game suspension?

On SEC Now, Gus said Holsey will start vs Arky. So there's that.

Good, I trust a 80% healthy Holsey over Reed.

Why in the world would they bounce him from that job unless they thought the kid they picked could do it better?

To just be mean and cruel?

I wonder if we still see JW on the extra points and the other guy on fgs.

We typically line up for two on extra points then read the d to see if we kick or go for two. If we do that this season, I bet jw is in to hold.

I imagine if it was for an eligibility issue, then no he couldn't take a redshirt. Seems like it would defeat the purpose of being ineligible

I could very well be wrong though

Reed is a better corner than you give him credit for. It is his natural position.

I would hope so (if we still run it).

I like that Gus runs that.

I'm not sure how it works. I know if you transfer you must sit a year. I know of players using that as their red shirt year.

I'd be very surprised if the NCAA views transferring and failing a drug test in the same light.

He hasn't redshirted yet so he can take a redshirt if he wants to

I hope that's the case, because I really like him as our Star, but I'm curious if the NCAA will let someone redshirt when suspended for failing a drug test. It does seem to defeat the purpose of being suspended. I've searched a bit, but haven't been able to find an answer.

I don't think the NCAA has much power over it. He technically violated a team/school rule.

It will be interesting to see but if he's good to go after 6 games I imagine we would play him unless the season is in the toilet. Probably not worth much discussion on

He can redshirt I played in college and it happened to a couple of my buddies the same situation and everything.
