What is the deal on him? Failed drug test or what? Any idea on his return? He will be back sometime, right?

Didn't someone post a while back that we changed our policy this year? I remember reading it somewhere.
I think a second failed test was a quarter of the season or something. Can't really remember though.

Flowers looked good in the A-Day game. I don't get it.

From the NCAA webpage -
What is the penalty for a positive drug test?
The penalty for positive tests of both performance-enhancing and street drugs is strict and automatic. Student-athletes lose one full year of eligibility for the first offense (25 percent of their total eligibility) and are withheld from competition for a full season. A second positive test for street drugs results in another lost year of eligibility and year withheld from competition. A second positive result for PED usage will render the student-athlete permanently ineligible.
What is the penalty for failing a school-issued drug test?
Each NCAA member is responsible for determining whether to establish an institutional drug-testing program, at which time the school would be responsible for determining applicable penalties. If a testing program is established, though, the school is obligated to enforce the penalties. Failure to do so can lead to NCAA sanctions.
Can student-athletes appeal a positive test?
Yes, student-athletes can appeal the result and, if ruled in their favor, either have the sanction reduced or eliminated.

I also said that we will not see Holsey Saturday either. He is on the depth chart though.

I hate that Johnathon Wallace isn't the starting holder... I want to see him on the field in any capacity that allows it.

He is not good enough to play for Auburn. He wasnt the last three years and we finally have enough depth to keep him on the sidelines.

I like having a qb with a little quickness at holder for fakes and to improvise on bad snaps.

Jonathan Wallace is the type of player you do everything you can to keep on the team, because he's the type of player to do everything he can to help out the team. He's an outstanding leader on and off the field and he has unquestionable character. I, for one, am glad he stuck with Auburn over transferring to another program he would start for.

Same. He is one of those guys that every team needs in the locker room. He could be a good coach down the road.

None of those guys were good enough to play for Auburn which is why we sucked.
We now have a higher caliber athlete and JW is not that. Gus is playing the better players.
