tigahbait: please show up on this board after the Gators spank that azz really hard in the Swamp.....
Memo to Phat Phil: stop drinking cheap wine that ends up staining your 12 yr old torn teeshirts. Has night school taught you any math? UT is dizzy from all the SEC schools taking turns on your sorry azz. 1998 was a long time ago and in another galaxy. Has UT won ANYTHING in the last 9 years? Table tennis? Badminton?

He is the second coming of Chuck Norris I believe in LF7. I don't even know why he went to high school to play ball. He should have just went right to college and played for us as a youngster IMHO
Gonna be fun around here when Leonard has six fumbles and only 200 yards rushing by mid-October.

Not wise to put true frosh on AA lists so soon. I bet he still hasn't mastered complicated blitz protection schemes yet...theres more to being a RB besides running. Of course I don't mind seeing him play a lot in the Swamp...but after five sacks he will be getting splinters from wood benches

No Florida coach has had 2 losing SEC seasons since the 1950s... until Muschamp.
No Florida coach had a losing year since 1979... until Muschamp.
Its actually hard to put in perspective for other SEC teams how consistently good Florida was prior to Muschamp-- put it this way, Florida's worst Coach from 1990 through 2010, won 8 games a year, never had a losing season in the SEC (much less overall) and brought in a top 10 class every season.... for that he was fired midway through year 3.
Its honestly hard to overstate how much Muschamp has messed up at Florida with the moronic decision to go pro style, but that's over now and we're back to the spread so things might be changing back.

7-6 (first year in the SEC - not bad at all. W against tOSU in the bowl game)
11-2 (no comment required - 99.9% of coaches would want this result)
4-8 (had garbage offense and no starting QB for the bulk of the season)
I think he has at least two more years at Florida based off of his 2012 performance, which was a very good team, and the fact Urban Meyer "broke" the Florida football program.
That's crazy he has to win at least 8 (with a win over FSU or UGA) to keep his job this year and that would only make 2015 a win the SEC or be fired year. Hell, 9 wins probably only buys him 1 more year.
Going 11-2 at Florida isn't all that special, Florida averaged slightly more than 11 wins in the 5 years prior to Boom's arrival.

Just stop you clown. You make LSU fans look bad. You probably wear bow ties and purple pants to games. So frat bro.

To even get 2015 he has to win 8 (and that's highly conditional). He probably needs to win 10 in the regular season to be assured 2 years and even then he'd be fired in 2015 if he doesn't win 9. Its just not that hard to get a top 10 class and win 8 or 9 a year at Florida-- I mean there's a lot of pressure but in terms of difficulty it's probably the easiest job in the SEC to win a conference or national title (Bama might be an argument here but that's really it).
If you can't win the conference in 5 years at Florida you probably shouldn't be employed. That's the bottom line really- Muschamp can buy himself one more year with a strong turnaround but unless he wins the SEC sometime in the next 2 years he's done.
Will Muschamp could be a very good coach someday, hell, he could be a very good coach this year if his eyes are really opened but the bottom line is that Florida isn't a learn on the job program.
