You mean sidewalk fans. Alabama alumni are quite content with the University and its standing.

As stated, its all about the money you make when you get out. I don't take any credit for A&M's Law School ranking.

Vandy is a good schoo, but it seems to have some "uppity" students.

An arse ehh?

Who was the one that decided to cry about gay people for no reason? Who was the one that talked out of his arse about liberal arts schools? Who seems to not know that A&M has a liberal arts school?

Not my fault you just made yourself sound like a jackass.

You are obviously reading my posts, I never whined, yet you aren't acknowledging that I had apologized for the words, and have essentially tried to end this little "gay" feud. Yet, here you are, being the little arse that you are, continuing it.

I have my views, my beliefs. A few took offense, I apologized as best I could and moved on, much to your calls to do so.

Again, if you wanna talk shite on a computer, keep going.

If you want a beer when you are in CS, we can make it happen.

It is. It's sort of the liberal arts college variant of an Ivy.

FWIW, Forbes had Georgia Tech ranked in the 500-550 range the last couple of rankings I've seen. They must have made a big jump this year.

The dumb shite asking already knows. He says the same community college thing all the time. He sorta likes to follow me around like a lil puppy dog with his sniffer in my arse.

I see that. Why someone cares so much is beyond me

This is a bit stupid because much is driven by what college within the university you graduated from.

Engineering at Auburn is top notch. Top dollars as well. Vet school same way.

Mizzou and Georgia have great journalism schools.

etc, etc. All SEC schools have specialties etc.

Hard to put a university rank that means much without that caveat.

Georgia is a damn good school. Frankly so is Florida. Bama has a law school. LSU has good academic programs as well.

USC has a tremendous graduate international studies program.

Frick these rankings. All I know is Auburn finished No.2 in Football. We'll correct that shite this season.

Alabama is 84 on the USNWR.

Exactly. The disparity between #84 in one ranking and #300 something in another shows you just how stupid these rankings are. We are all just a bunch of mid-tier state schools and no one gives a shite what you are ranked unless you are top 25 or so. USNWR is the only one people really pay attention to anyways.

Thanks for dodging any effort to apologize for your personal attacks against me. You vandy fans are the only ones to take issue with it. Everyone else that read the comment moved on just fine. Let loose a bit.

I am a Vandy fan with a Masters degree in Economics. But I am with you. Political correctness has taken a nasty turn the point in wants to control free speech. Maybe you could have used better language, but don't believe for a second your heritage and education is any less than your critics.

This year it comes down to small, student-centric, liberal arts colleges vs. large, brainy, research-oriented universities closely associated with science, technology, engineering and math.
