Bragging about possibly finishing second and being better than MSU?

Awesome thread.

We may not win every game, but we never lose the preseason.

Running backs are small, Qb is a turnover machine and offensive line is mediocre at best. Some good players on defense but no depth. 7-8 win ceiling.

Palmer is gay. He and pollack have a bromance big time.

Not very likely. Remember, OM is projected to play in the Liberty Bowl.

LSU won't win the West again until Saban retires or leaves Bama.

Saban has some chinks in his armor, but your guy isn't the Bobby Fischer of fb coaches either.

Ole Miss,, 2nd place, just ahead of Arky, agreed!

LSU won't win the West until Nick Saban retires OR Gus Malzahn retires.

Les Miles is Bert with a fluke 2-loss natty title thanks to Saban's program building coattail riding, and maybe a couple extra brain cells instead of extra adipose tissue.

Possibly. Gus came into a great situation with tons of talent and had every ounce of luck on his side during the regular season. I'm not sold on him being a top tier coach. I think he is a great coach, but Freeze has done just as good, if not better, of a job. Freeze had little talent and no depth and lost to LSU/A&M/Vandy off absolutely terrible luck, AU had elite talent with lots of depth and I don't need to discuss the games they won with luck on their side.
