Ehhhhhhhhh, no. I have a hard time being upset about a loss that ultimately didn't matter. Once we weren't winning the title, the season was a bust no matter what. I mean it sucked, but it was a lot easier to get over than Kick Six.

Teams change.
Alabama got better then? Point is, teams earned their ranking based on their performance on the field. Not based on biased perceptions of a program. Rankings should carry over

I'd be ok holding off on any rankings until October 1.
In many instances, weeks 1-3 tell us little.

This Coaches Poll means zilch now. It's just for fun.

Then you should want rankings to come out at Halloween.

Of course you are.
You've been reading this board for months.
Going by the SECr brain-trust, we'll never win another game.
Don't forget: We had a few players drafted.

The first time we haven't been ranked in it since 90.

Where do you think Alabama should be ranked? I think we're too high as well, but where would you suggest putting Bama? Anything lower than top 5 just isn't fair to Saban.

Not sure about zilch (I think it carries some weight in the minds of the populace/future voters).
But I agree with your overall sentiment.

And a few more kicked off the team, which is why I am surprised they are ranked.

I missed your point. Are you saying that polls should come out after the majority of the season has been played or trying to be funny?
