No way, bro. They don't need another Top 5 DE. Won't even make a difference, I mean have you seen that brutal Bama pass rush the last couple of years? How can you doubt them?

Goes both ways, though, right? Fans are quick to disavow their own asshats while tarring fans of other teams with a broad brush because of their asshats. It's classic sports message board dynamics, I grant, but still a bit disingenuous.

FWIW, nobody on our side is actually that mad about it, but most people do think Rico is much more bitchmade than Floyd does here.

And honestly, even with my fooling around, there were much worse asshats in this very thread.

I think he was referring to the additions of Robinson, Allen, Hand, Evans, and Miller as of recent to support the lack of pass rush we have had. No one is denying the pass rush hasn't been there, we want guys who can get to the QB. I personally would like to have Ledbetter because he would be a SSDE in our scheme. He isn't exactly the speed rush DE you're describing though. He seems like more of a run stopper and push inside type guy. Not Jet around the outside of the tackle type and go boundary to boundary.

Evans and Miller alone are going to do wonders for you guys pass rush. Rashaan looks like a damn Soph in college already.

What happened to Ryan Anderson? Or is this the year he is supposed to make his presence felt?

Hope so. It looks like 1 of each will be the future at our Sam and Jack LB spots. Rashaan runs a 4.5 so he may end up being the cover guy (SAM) even though he is probably the better pass rusher but will definitely rush on passing downs. I know Rashaan and Hand will be in there to get to some people this season for sure. Miller wants to RedShirt oddly enough. Idk whether thats a good, bad, or both thing.

He plays ST a good bit and is solid there, but he is honestly a better run stopper. All the hype out of HS was because he played for Daphne (2nd best HS usually to Hoover in Alabama) in my opinion. He went to my rival high school but is years younger than me. He backs up Devall at Jack and gets some PT. Doubt he breaks out though, too slow IMO.

logjam at Jack right now. Dickson might start over Devall and Pettway might start over both of them. Anderson has to find a spot.

He was recruited over. Didn't even have a committable offer to UT.

I love that Bama and UGA are fighting over our tier 2 players now.

Are you willing to take that chance? We haven't missed much lately. Especially along the offensive line.

Neither have we. Look, Bama is a recruiting monster right now and it's always going to be a fight with y'all, but I would be floored ATP if Richmond isn't a Vol. Not even being a homer.
