Edit: And it still doesn't change the fact that Spurrier won more SEC titles than Neyland.

Neyland coached a third of his career before the conference was called the SEC. I was still the same league. I know you're trolling, but damn

why couldn't he recruit like that at Michigan State?

he recruited very well at Michigan State actually, for their standards at least. Charles Rogers, Plaxico Burress, T.J. Duckett, Mushin Muhammed, Julian Peterson among others.

Well congrats on your half-hearted "titles".. Oh wait, that's how the rules are, guess I can't claim them bogus.

we finished #1 in one or both of the major polls. We could claim 4 or 5 more if we used Bama, Auburn methods.

And the polls said UA should have a rematch with LSU. I'm sure you love polls.

No I'm not. If you have a problem with the titles speak to the powers that be. Even so, take away 3 and it's still a better resume

Well, the powers that be disagree with YOU actually. NCAA and the SEC (AND you own official online store) say that Neyland only won 1.

And how about Neyland's outstanding 2-5 bowl record?

I didn't know AU claimed 2004. Regardless, it felt good to beat every team on the schedule. I can say I've witnessed that multiple times in my young life.

Ok this is the last post I'm gonna humor you with, as I have shat all over your argument

We all know there were far fewer bowls in those days, and they were looked at completely different as far as desire to win. Hell, championships were determined before the bowl games
