Oh like I said on the recruiting board, Pelini is a pussy. He whined like the titty baby he is when UK hired Vince Marrow away from his staff. He tried to trash UK on the recruiting trail as a result and really gave Braylon Heard the blues when he put in for his transfer to UK despite Nebraska being stout at RB.
He's just pissy his bagman isn't as good as everyone else's right now.

And it was always pretty well known here that Tony Driver (Louisville) got a little "extra" to suit up for Notre Dame. Likely through Paul Hornung himself.
So, yeah. They're cheating their asses off in South Bend as much as anyone else in college football.
Well known by whom? Certainly no one at Male, as my dad was an assistant coach there at the time.
Name your sources.
Edit to add: Believe me, you want no part of me when discussing Louisville-area football recruiting. You f*ckers are as dirty as they come.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

So are y'all that's what you aren't comprehending. Y'all are dirty as frick. We don't feel the need to bitch about cheating when we get beat for recruits.
Posted on 7/30/14 at 11:15 pm to AbuTheMonkey
Maybe if y'all weren't such a goody two shoes program you would have won something of note since the 80s.

Known by anybody who knew Tony. He sure as shite wasn't pulling it out of his arse.

And? I never said UK hadn't cheated. We've even served probation for it. But give me a fricking break if you're really trying to spout that Notre Dame doesn't cheat.

You need to read between the lines. I literally could not give less of a poo about Ole Miss and y'alls recruiting. I was intentionally rustling jimmies. You really won't see Notre Dame fans - for the most part - bitching about other programs being dirty in recruiting. Like I said, from every bit of evidence I have seen (with my own eyes as a student, as a relation to a major booster, as an alum in an ND hotbed of recruiting, etc), I don't think we are, but I am open to the possibility.
This Kentucky cat calling out ND is hilarious, though, as I know far, far more about Kentucky (and especially Louisville) area high school recruiting than this idiot will ever know.

Again, name your people and sources. Don't dodge the question like a weakling.
You are talking to a Louisville kid from that era with significant ties to both Male and X. I want to hear your allegations first-hand.

Prove it.

Your reading comprehension sure is shite for someone who has ties to Male and St. X.

About a player from 1998? I'm sorry I don't have receipts scanned for his purchases at the time.
So your Daddy was an assistant at a high school under Redman. Who gives a shite. I actually worked for one of those programs you're talking shite about. So congrats on your "connection".

You can curse on here you know like a man. Poo is for dudes who squat to piss.
Aren't you doing just that?
Does your dad also own a dealership?
I'm sure you do. ND cheats like everywhere else

And yet you still dodge the question. Name names and prove it. I want to hear this first hand.

Sorry I played for one and had a dad coach at another. I am certain I know more about the programs than you do.
Who else you want to talk about? Bernard Jackson? Tendai Charasika? Shaun Alexander?

I didn't dodge anything if you read the initial post.
Maybe you should've regularly attended class at Notre Dame. Might've improved your comprehension skills.

Poor Tendai, stuck playing under Ron Cooper of all HCs. I actually ran into him not that long ago when he was participating in a function at my work. He had just started with a startup here after stepping down from EnterpriseCorp.

Perhaps a bit - it is clearly getting jimmies rustled. I was trolling on Ole Miss - I honestly have no idea what they do because I've never seen it.

I fricking wish.

And yet not a single soul has thrown proof out for it. "Just because everyone else does it" is not a valid logic in my world.

Forget the initial post - you called out Tony Driver, and I am calling for you to provide direct proof. Again, name names and methods. If this happened, I want to hear this. This is your third (or is it fourth?) post dodging this request, yet again.

He is lucky, though. He comes from a great family who values education - I think one of his brothers or sisters went to Harvard Med. Vic Anderson was not so lucky, but he was fortunate enough to be adopted into a caring family. If that kid had played for anyone but Kragthorpe, he might have played professionally. He was really good. I am not sure that the Brohms, on the other hand, have the intestinal fortitude to make it professionally.

Umm, Notre Dame wasn't on probation?
quote:
The probationary term handed down by the National Collegiate Athletic Association resulted from an investigation of almost two years into two series of events. The main one involved the actions of a booster, Kimberly Dunbar, who lavished gifts on football players with money she later pleaded guilty to embezzling.
In the second series of events, a football player was accused of trying to sell tickets he received free to a game and of using tickets he received free for three games as repayment of a loan. The player was also said to have been romantically involved with a woman (not Dunbar), a part-time tutor at the university, who wrote a term paper for another player for a small fee and provided players with meals, lodging and gifts. The player was dismissed from the team.
Proof enough for ya?
And ironically right around the same time Tony Driver went to Notre Dame. Hmmmm.

I was trying to lead you towards the conclusion but your superior intellect must be faltering. If your prestige and tradition was so overwhelming to Morgan why was he projected to go anywhere but ND from Feb to Sep of last year? What changed? Mom was all about Vandy and Ole Miss until then. All of a sudden ND is the only place for her baby.

Already covered in this thread if you've been paying attention. A woman gave $25 to be in a lunch club. She then dated (and then engaged and married, post-haste) a football player. They are still married.
That was the extent of the "violations".
