For a Vandy game? You serious?

I never actually attended a Vandy game at Bama, but I assume the fact that y'all sell out every game means it's still going to be bad. I attended a pair of Tennessee games, an OM game, and a Southern Miss game at Bama. Plus a Southern Miss game at Legion Field. The games were great, lots of fun. It's just finding parking and dealing with the traffic afterwards that drove me nuts.

I haven't had to leave right after a game but I imagine auburn to be pretty bad, no? most everyone just bottlenecks on to college to get to 85

Auburn is actually very easy. They have a lot of outlets than get you off campus and onto 85 fairly quickly.

Forgot about Georgia. Yeah that traffic sucks.

Why would you drive anywhere after a game in Athens?

I normally drive in to BR on Friday and its bad into town with the merging on the bridge.

But the couple times I went on Saturday morning it was stupid. Traffic almost as soon as you're off the Atchafalaya

I was stuck in Athens for about an hour and a half in 2009.

Worst was Clemson. Literally did not move for two hours. Actually got out and started throwing the football to ease boredom.

Those are the two worst IMHO.

Go too far in towards Sanford and you screw the pooch. We usually tailgate over by the Vet School and it's not too bad but if you going much further in it:s traffic.

Clemson is bad no matter what.

Growing up leaving Athens with my family was the biggest pain in the arse. As a student I thanked all that was good in the world I wasn't in that traffic. I could see UGA being at the top.

Last year was just absolutely awful. Couldn't buy booze after the game and we couldn't leave forever. We just ended up sitting on the wall outside of where gameday was and drinking our leftovers and bothering strangers. Oddly enough the Clemson fans were pretty giving. Granted they just beat a #5 team so I get them being in a good mood.

You did. It was my uninformed friend who booked us in a hotel 20-30 min from campus who missed that note. Lordy.

We ended up driving to my buddies Lakehouse on Hartwell and drinking more with them. Well, they drank happily. I sat there with whiskey and my thoughts.

If you leave when the game is over at Tiger stadium the traffic isn't that bad. Probably only 1,000 or so fans left.

Bama and LSU are pretty bad. I once drove to Hoover after a Bama game. It was a terrible idea. My last two trips To Bama I drove back to Louisiana and it only took like an hour and change longer than driving to Hoover. Crazy!

Athens? As someone said, you are doing it wrong if you are driving anywhere right after the game.

Yeah I always get worried when leaving a game in Auburn but traffic never seems to be a problem. Most people know the other routes and there are a ton of em.

Last two times I have been to Auburn, I was off campus and on 85 in less than 20mins. And that was being parked by the intramural fields off Wire Rd both times.

I remember Auburn being very easy to get out of in 2010.

I was worried because I thought it'd be like Clemson. Since they call Clemson "Auburn with a lake" or whatever

Not being a dick, but when all the Auburn fans walk to Toomers to roll the tree's it makes it easy for the visitors to leave
