Except for the "branded" booths most all others are staffed by schools/churches/boy scout/charity workers etc...

Same at AU. I understand how it's good for the charities but it can be aggravating at times.

In which case all that trash you saw would just look a bit more organized. There is nowhere to deposit trash on North Campus, even on none gamedays. I think I counted once that there are only four or five trash cans total on that area of campus which is ridiculous given how many people come through there. It's a simple matter of the school either didn't plan well for the crowd or didn't want to spend the money to make the proper appropriations to address the situation. They ultimately passed the buck onto the fans as being horrible and took tailgating in that area away (completely ignoring that fact that people have done fine tailgating on North Campus for years prior to that pic).

Sodexo is "in charge" but the workers in the concession booths are usually people affiliated with some group or organization.

ETA- Im on the west side of the stadium and the concession booths that I go to have been manned by everything from church groups to boy scouts troops. Perhaps it's just there?

Can't speak on this yet

But I imagine traffic will still be an issue. But not sure there is much that can be done for the 7 Saturdays a year that this is applicable to.

Ok, it's unavodiable until you either get rid of or severely discourage tailgating in that area. Better?

Then please write the school on our behalf and let them know we're ready to cooperate if they are

In Auburn, for the most part, people place their trash bags next to the nearest trashcan. Cleaning crews start picking them up at night.

During the day, crews also ride around and ask if anyone needs trash bags

At UGA, people would have to just keep them at their tailgates (all trashcans were either built in next to sidewalks or the cardboard trashcans were in the middle of the quads anyway). As rig alluded, the crews that were supposed to come through at night usually didn't make it until some time the following morning.

Yeah, that never happened at UGA as far as I had seen. And that's partly what I'm wanting to see. It shouldn't be an honor that UGA alumni and fans get to even breathe the air on North Campus. It is meant to be a place where fans are supposed to congregate. The school or whoever else happens to be in charge should recognize that and do their best to accommodate the needs of the alumni that have made the university and gameday what it is. If after those necessary and appropriate accommodations are offered you see a complete disrespect of the grounds, then there is reason to either reduce or do away with tailgating on that area of campus. But to my knowledge, no such accommodations beyond cardboard trashcans and your typical porta potties were provided.

3. I wish the city had a free bus/trolley system on gameday to take people back and forth from downtown. Would help the parking problem. I also believe this would help distribute traffic to other parts of the city

We do this at Missouri and it's f'n fantastic if you don't have a parking pass. Park downtown in a deck for free, hit the bars, then take the $1.50 shuttle to the stadium. I love it.

That said, Missouri could improve the pre-game atmosphere with more parking for people without passes.

BRING BACK REACTOR FIELD

They shut it down a few years ago because they were afraid someone was going to get killed. I say, let the rules of Darwin be the only rules when it comes to tailgating.

Bring back free parking on campus! Or use that $23 million we're getting from the SEC Network to cut the parking fees way back to $5 or $10 a car. The number of people tailgating on the LSU campus has been drastically reduced by the parking fees. When I went to the Florida game last year, there was maybe a quarter of the people that used to tailgate on the Parade Grounds....but you had stupid pop-up boutiques. Pop-up boutiques on the Parade Grounds don't mean anything or add to gameday -- and they'll vanish after two 7-5 seasons. The guys cooking jambalaya or frying catfish all day add to gameday.

1. Show live games on the big screens in the stadium until the band goes on the field and during halftime (how often do you really watch the band during halftime?).
2. Fix the scoreboards on the north and south sides.
3. More piped in music, less MDB.
4. Better WiFi in the stadium.
5. Schedule better home games.

Building a parking garage wont lower those parking prices.

Auburn has started blocking off many areas that were once free parking and now charge $30, including parking on the street. They are also blocking off many parking areas in general for no apparent reason, other than the faux safety concerns
The way AU's campus is designed seems to have tailgating all jacked up. There aren't a lot of larger, open areas to tailgate close to JHS. I've heard my AU friends complain for years that their spots are getting blocked off and they have to find new areas.

For Alabama:

- Show some freaking updated scores/stats on the ribbon boards/jumbotrons. Its like you are in a blackhole on gameday and it doesn't seem to be a problem for other schools. Would love for them to do what UGA does and show broadcasts from other games during timeouts.

- The MDB needs to do a lot of improvin
AMEN!

I freakin hate the outdated scores they run across the ribbon. Can't they designate someone in the damn booth to take charge of that shite and get current scores on there?

IMO - They need to change the name of the band. It hasn't been worth a million dollars in a while.

Spots arent necessarily being blocked off, except for a few areas, they are just making it damn near impossible to bring any tailgate supplies to your spot or back to your car before kickoff
