AU doesn't have a live tiger (they do, curiously have an eagle though ). Bama doesn't have a live elephant. Tech doesn't have a live YJ ('cept for that ridiculous one that they dress up, plus a few hiding under those empty seats) UF doesn't have a live gator, ect. We just so happen to have the best live mascot in all of college football. And when you have the best, people are gonna take shots at you. We don't care. We have plenty of room in the graveyard in the EZ. And Sonny has plenty of pups.

Here is sage advice on killing the colony of your mascot.
Killing The Nest
Locate Nests: Nests should be located during the day, so you can identify the workers entering and exiting the entry points. Look for multiple entry points and mark them.
Treatment: Only treat at night when it is dark. Yellow Jackets do not see well, and chances of being stung are greatly reduced. Also at night the whole colony will be present in the nest making the treatment more effective.
Treat the nest with pyrethrum aerosols such as PT 565 Plus or CB Extra. Pyrethrum forms a gas which will fill the cavity, killing the yellow jackets on contact. Wait until the aerosol is dry, and then dust in the opening with insecticide dusts such as Evergreen Dust or D-Fense Dust. The dust will prevent future hatch outs. Check the nest the following day, to see if the yellow jackets are dead which can be verified by lack of activity. Repeat, if necessary.
Spray opening at night with pyrethrin aerosol.
Wait until aerosol is dry (10-15 minutes), then dust opening with Evergreen Dust or D Fense Dust
For complete results, use Walt's Yellow Jacket Kit (CB 80 and Evergreen Dust and duster).

Anybody seen the SEC Network commercial featuring the live mascots yet?
Features Uga, but I doubt he gets half the screen time as the chicken from usce and the Lassie from A&M.
Maybe, they're subliminally hyping the USC/A&M SEC NEtwork debut opening game..........or maybe there's a more sinister bias going on here. Don't know. Just seems wrong that the most recognizable and beloved live mascot in all of college sports should have to share air-time with his inferiors like that.

I'm not even saying ditch the bulldog, just the ones that are severely inbred. It's abuse to keep perpetuating the Silar strain when they continue to exhibit bad genes. I'm speaking as a big dog lover.
