I know your colors. I had to edit the graph and it automatically shifted over a few of the colors. Now, I can't get the colors on the Ole Miss bar to change so I'm saying frick it.

It would be better if he didn't include Arkansas, Missouri, and A&M teams that were representing other conferences when they won their titles.

Also, Tulane won a national title in tennis in '59 while representing the SEC...guess that isn't worth mentioning...

I think he only listed champs during the years that the SEC has existed (1932 and onward). That said, he lists some titles won by schools before they joined the SEC and omits a title won by an SEC school that later dropped out of the conference.

McDonnell's 42 national championships (which include 19 in indoor track, 12 in outdoor track and 11 in cross country) are more than any coach in any sport in the history of college athletics.

The topic was national titles, not conference titles. Whether a school was SEC or not, there was equal opportunity to compete for a national title.

I think he was just trying to list national titles won by current SEC schools.

In that case, it looks like we only have 28 National Championships since joining the SEC.

Schools are starting to catch up with the flagship. Good thing we're stacked in football, baseball, softball, men's golf, and gymnastics over the next couple of years. I expect to extend the lead

Hell, I have met an LSU fan outside of here that wants Miles fired. And this was about 2 years ago. Maybe 3.

Real absence of Alabama fans up in here. If you don't recognize theiir claim of 14 football national championships or whatever the number is these days, they don't like to talk to you.

Well played, Bama. Just ignore it.

The criteria seems fair enough to me. I don't have an argument with it.

We are not the dominant program in each specific sport in the SEC. Fact. I can live with where we are.

I am amazed that any fans are seriously bragging about a string of titles in track (and women's track). If that what makes you feel proud, go for it. IMO, Florida and LSU have the most complete sports programs in the conference. We are the undisputed best in the sport that concerns us the most. I'd like more success in basketball, and we've had some solid success in baseball but other than that, meh.
