I will say, as annoying as Rocky Top can be when played over and over ad nauseum, a whole stadium of Vols screaming it sounds pretty damn cool.

That's what makes it fantastic and why it will never annoy me. We will disappear a bitch if you try to take our stash and pretend we don't know what happened - maybe he just got lost. It helps that I had moonshiners in my family and live on Thunder Road.

This is very true. I've belted that song with many other Vols outside our state lines. It's how we mark our territory

Some people have secret handshakes to recognize one another - we have a song.
But you know what's really cool is I've heard the song everywhere with no Vols around. It's just a fun song - Europeans love it.
