Last year the answer would have been Ron English at Eastern Michigan. This year it's probably Tim Beckman at Illinois.

Florida will win the the east this year.

Derek Dooley is so bad, he's the worst for three years after he's gone.

Wait a minute, I am confused.
if Muschamp is the worst coach in CFB or even just in the SEC; how has he already gotten a W against the high & mighty Les Miles???

Probably the most stubborn, but not the worst by a longshot.
I think he'll be a pretty good HC after he works things out a bit. Working for Mack Brown as long as he did may have eroded his abilities that was developed under Saban.

Muschamp may not be the worst, but his seat is the hottest.

OK, I know this is a troll, but just to educate everyone I thought I'd post this, and let me just say, I'm not the hugest Muschamp supporter:
-Muschamp's defenses at UF have finished in the top 10 3 years in a row, and probably will again this year.
But more importantly,
in 2012, UF played one of the hardest schedules in recent memory, having played 6 teams that FINISHED in the top 15 and 7 top 25 teams and won 11 games, going 5-2 against top 25 teams and 4-2 against top 15 teams.
In modern history, that has only happened one other time. 2011 LSU and Les Miles.
He also won the SEC Coach of the year in 2012.
Also, just FYI - 51 coaches in the country right now have NEVER won a game against a ranked team. So the answer is... one of them.

This thread is so full of stupid I do not know where to start.
1. The idea that saben builds up a coach and mack brown erodes him is a full retard statement.
2. Give WM a break. With scholly limitations in place, injuries can destroy a season. Auburn had a year where we lost 4-5 CENTERS to foot and knee injuries and it was terrible and almost impossible to overcome. Look at how bad uga struggled with injuries last year. Give the guy a break.
However, if WM does not challenge for the East title this year, I would fire him. But NOW is not the time to bash him. Time will tell.....

His fate will largely be based on this year. Last year was an injury plagued season that does not reflect his coaching abilities.

Nah..He just inherited a program left in complete shambles by Urban Meyer.
Aside from trying to clean up the UF program, purge isn't the wrong word here, he's trying to change their pass happy ways into more of a LSU or Bama type ball control, play tough defense system.
Too much talent in that state for UF to be down much longer. I suggest we enjoy it while we can.

Why? Muschamp, as the HCIW at Texas likely developed some of the same offensive development traits that Mack practiced while he, Muschamp...waited. He is different from Mack from a personality standpoint, but his offenses so far at UF has been as nondescript as Texas' for the last few years.
Your turn, dragonboy.

What Muschamp may have inherited from Mack Brown was a poor management style.
That more than anything is what has gotten him into trouble.
His defenses are routinely top 10, that isn't an accident. He is obviously a good coach.
But a head coach has a lot of MANAGEMENT responsibilities, and I think Muschamp has had to reevaluate how he manages the team every single year, because he's had so many problems keeping his staff together and keeping them away from each others throats.
He seems to have his best staff, and his best team, right now. He needs to do something positive with it.
