FWIW, I think other schools should stop recruiting players that Georgia wants. Clearly they're bad kids who aren't worth the trouble, but UGA will accept the burden of dealing with these reckless but talented kids.

Yeah, UGA was the only school that offered Solomon and no one else would've taken him.....

Nice rational. I respected my parents. That doesn't mean I didn't take a toke from time to time.

There it is with UGA fans. "We are morally superior". "What, another one of our kids was arrested"? "Hey, look over there".

It's not the kids. The kids are the same everywhere. It's the coach that they don't respect and that is the problem.

Richt and Sumlin both

Oh I get it, so if they just let them get away with it like Gus or Jimbo,,, so much more respect from the kids?!?!!

lol

There's a difference between two arrests in the last two years and the 11 arrests of UGA players

I don't have to bother looking up who else has gotten arrested because your starting quarterback got busted within the past month

You should really look it up. Instead of making an fool of yourself.

Our starting QB was not arrested. And we have had 2 in two years

or the main difference might just be that they are doing a much better job of enforcing a clean program than you are.

So if you got a DUI, then you wouldn't respect your parents anymore? Where's the line? It was the AU poster that said these players don't respect Richt.....

I don't believe this to be true. I just think there's a bad culture, aura if you will, enveloping that program which causes these kids to lash out against themselves and society. Is it Richt, is it the players, is it the AD, or just the city, I'm not sure we have that answer right now.

I don't necessarily think they would act the same way in Knoxville, Tuscaloosa, Oxford, etc. Programs that focus on developing the person as well as the player.

I don't think it's irreparable, but it's going to take a lot of work. At the same time, they've won a lot of games, and ultimately that's what's all about.

... and UGA fans have a "moral superiority" complex.

ETA; now realizing that was Jed's post. Carry on
