Well , we've won it once with one of the lowest point totals ever, and we are still VERY far behind Texas A&M and...and....well, look! Tennessee!

"Tennessee bringing the trophy home."

Really? Coming from an Aubbie? Where exactly did your starting QB come from? Did you forget about Trey Mathews already?

Who knows? Bellemy might be headed your way soon...

Well sure they do......but SEVEN arrests in one off-season? Sorry, that's a hard one to spin.

What would you have him do that he's not already doing? Running gassers at 5:30AM? Check. Suspensions for big games against Clemson and Carolina? Check. Outright dismissals? check.

Hell, the only other thing he could start doing is not dismiss them, not let them play, and forbid them from transferring to a D1 schools anywhere in the Southeast.

We're making progress. No starters arrested yet this offseason.

Tray Matthews (dismissed, enrolled at AUburn) - Theft by taking

John Taylor (dismissed) - Theft by taking, Domestic violence

Uriah Lemay (transferred) - Theft by taking

James Deloach - theft by taking

Shaq Wiggins (transferred to Louisville) - Driving with a suspended license

Davin Bellamy - DUI, underage drinking

The most egregious of those offenses is easily Taylor's domestic violence incident followed by Bellamy's DUI. The other things are either dumb or innocuous.

Remind me what line the Georgia fanbase as a whole took with Chizik. References to press releases by the Georgia fanbase would be helpful as evidence.

It's always easier to point fingers at another program. We are guilty, and you are too. We all do it. You would think we all would learn a lesson from it. Maybe one day.

I agree to this. I have always taken the line that it is pretty much out of the coaches hands. Chizik could not have stopped our 4 from taking a hand gun and robbing a trailer.... Nothing he could have done about it. He immediately dismissed them all just as any coach would have done

We (Auburn) have actually been relatively lucky. Other than that one event.

Coaches cannot follow the kids around day in and day out. All they can do is set rules down, talk to the kids about doing things right and punish them when they get in trouble.

The BEST a coach can do is hope he has some upper classmen ride herd on the younger kids and use peer pressure to keep them out of trouble.

We've had 2 arrests this off season, not the 10 being reported. The other 8 were cited and allowed to walk back in the party that all 10 of them got in trouble at for being to loud. Sorry for partying breh. No dismissals, duis, thefts, or assault charges.
