She is well like by a bunch of people here in Gainesville, unlike her husband.
Apparently she thinks Urban "only" resigned because of his health issues, which is BS. He is a great coach, but he quit on UF when things got tough.

She was a member of GatorCountry. GatorCountry is still around, I think they changed systems or something so old links might not work.
Shelley is probably one of the coolest coach's wives out there. She would only sit in the student section so she could go as crazy as she wanted, and you would also always see her at other UF sporting events. She was extremely involved on campus.

I think the SEC is more passionate about CFB, more obsessed with our teams, but I don't think it's accurate to call us 'meaner.'

She's sure, is she? Gosh, way to take a stand on a fanbase widely known to be one of the most obnoxious, toxic fanbases around. I speak from experience, having lived up there for a while. Since I was never the football coach's wife and didn't have to spread 'em for Urbs, maybe I had a more nuanced view of the fricking assholes.
Also, the few UF fans I've known have been relatively mild regarding Meyer. They have nothing on large numbers (not all, before you Tiger fans start bitching) of LSU fans hating Saban or Arkansas fans hating Nutt, just to name a couple examples of real vitriol.

She seems to have some pretty thin skin, not unlike her husband. I think her doing this interview will take care of the terrible misconceptions Florida fans have about them.
