A better question would've been what former player for your chosen team did you hate watching trot onto the field?

By the time Senior day rolled around last year, I was happy to see Freak gone, especially after he and Ego ran onto the field as Juniors for senior day. Freak is a case study on wasted potential. His attitude just kind of sucked, and I honestly think we'll be better off without him. JMO

Last year it was tyler russell and ladarius perkins. They were "true maroon" but held us back a lot of times. Tyler wasn't good enough in Mullen's offense. Perkins was not a good back his senior year. I even felt that way about Nickoe Whitley last year. He made big plays but we later found out that he was injured, which explains Many blown plays. We didn't have a good enough sub obviously.

I cannot think of anyone this year that will get in the way of Moffan's loyalty.

Eta: scratch that. Joe Morrow could end up being one.

I said that shite from day one....

I kept saying that Moffan should have scratched the 2012 season and played the shite out of Dak to get him as much experience possible. Winning 7 in a row against dog shite opponents was the worst possible thing to happen to MSU. No way in hell could he bench a starting QB of a 7-0 team....

We all(meaning non-MSU fans) knew that was fools gold. Last year could have been decently special for MSU with Dak having a year's experience under his belt(pending him NOT getting injured, obviously).

Not really disrespecting him as a person. Great young man that had to grow up fast with having twins that young. Glad that he will be graduating. Never been in trouble, etc. Fine young man. Just think he's an average to below average SEC RB who always gets hyped up for no reason. He's a solid RB3 behind Magee and LF, and he's a good veteran to have on the squad. Nothing wrong with that.

And I noticed you haven't said anything or taking up for Welter...

applies to both, you really didn't take much of a shot at welter so i didn't get into it.

i don't think that anybody over-hypes hilliard, when they speak positively i tend to think it is out of kindness and appreciation.

they are both ingredients, you don't have have any idea of what they fully accomplish by being a part of our team. can't assign any stats to experience and leadership, give the kids a break.

Sure... sure....Considering its well documented how most people think of Welter and the players he has behind him, I didnt think I had to

Dude, Hilliard gets hyped every offseason since his freshman season. After his freshman year, people on here were talking possible Heisman race for Hilliard during his career. Hell, some people thought he should have been playing over Hill during last season. And all you hear each spring is how he lost some weight, gained muscle, faster, and is looking better than ever. Yet when it comes game time, he looks like the same old Kenny we have seen these past few seasons, which is an average - below average SEC RB.

What? So I should say unrealistic things, things I dont believe, about a player just to be nice? Speaking positively about someone and overhyping them are 2 completely different things. You can say you hope Hilliard and Welter figure it out and take their game to a new level and are monsters for us, and I hope for the same as well. No problem with that. But saying that and saying that Hilliard should be playing ahead of Hill, gonna be a top 5 RB in the SEC this year, going to be great, etc are 2 different things. Hope all you want, but some people have an unrealistic perception about Hilliard.

And maybe I shouldnt have listed Hilliard as a player that I cant wait to leave the team. Because thats not true. I appreciate the person he is and veteran that he can / could / will be for our younger players and appreciate him. Just think hes always overhyped and just a decent SEC RB.

Neither do you And if someone just isnt that good and another player is flat out better, you can throw experience out the window. Experience only goes so far. Oh and Welter was suspended the entire 2012 season. Not something that happens to a leader.

You haven't been paying attention then. Did you even watch the LSU game last season? He will be a major cog in our defense this year.

Nick Perry has been solid for us as well.

For Auburn, Quan Bray by far. I cannot understand why he's continually put on KR. Davis, Mason, and Grant all returned kicks for TDs last season, but it was always one of them along with Bray on KR. And every time it was kicked to Bray, he gets to the 15 and gets fricking rocked. He's undersized and has never shown anything more than average speed and agility. I can't wait for him to be gone...

Bray doesn't have the talent to hold the jockstrap of the other receivers on Auburn. Doesn't he just rotate in a few plays now? I'm waiting for Kris Frost to be the man otherwise he's just a more talented version of Holland.

I don't know. I thought Foster was gonna be fantastic coming out of high school. That position just seems to require a mental component that other positions don't. I guess that's something that's hard to evaluate for Saban.

Coach Saban doesn't let a 20 year old run all over him.
