Three of my closest friends have had babies in the last year. All 3 had gender reveal parties. All 3 were some kind of frickin lame.
I will say the last one wasnt as bad bc it was paired with a diapers and beer party later that night.

The best kind of gender reveal party is the one held at a church for a roadwhore and her baby-daddy who want the benefits of the largess and ceremony of church folk but can't be bothered to attend services or get married.

Its just another form of attention-seeking behavior. Pinterest is good for some stuff, I guess. What is funny is that every housewife I went to school with has an identical "unique" Christmas tree every year, because they're all doing the stuff they've seen on Pinterest.

No. Wife and I have been invited to 2 of them, and I refused to go to both. She begrudgingly went to the first one, but realized how dumb they are and skipped the second one.
