Wisconsin. Still go to Atlanta, and likely to play for a shot at the playoffs. Auburn would be next, I guess.

why? it's non SEC and it's the first game

11-1 and a perfect SEC record gets any team into the playoffs

in theory it might not if you had an undefeated FSU, PAC representative, and Big 12 rep... if the Big 10 rep was undefeated or only had one loss (and either was Wisconsin or beat Wisconsin) they would have a logical argument to go over LSU in that scenario.

for the people who care about perceptions of conference strength one of the worst possible events is for your conference champ to be shown up out of conference. that, more than anything else IMO, is what saddled the big 12 and big 10 with the reputations of being subpar compared to the SEC.
