Both are textbook examples.
Not sure how you're differentiating?
I don't know the official rule, and I'm sure it still qualifies as a horse collar, but a major difference is that Frost actually has Manziel from across the front as well and kind of spins him down rather than yanking him down completely from behind which is what causes the type of injury that made horse collars illegal in the first place.
Again, I'm sure by the letter of the law it's still a horse collar but if an official was going to justify his call that's how he could do it.

Watching this game again just reminds me of how terrible A+Ms Defense was and will be also Manziel is going to be a terrible NFL QB

We will see about that... I don't think you will be as bad
as some predict but you will drop off.
We should be strong if we don't keep getting injuries.

They are opinions, which you're entitled to, of course.

Imma just employ a "wait and see" approach to this year.

I have never left a Auburn game early. And I have been to a bunch of games. That game was the closest I have ever come. I made myself stay and suffer with the team.
Its amazing how bad we were. I hear people say all the time how big of a miracle it was that we were so good in 2013. In my eyes, the real miracle was 2012. There is no way that team should have been that bad.

That was the first season I can ever remember where I dreaded football Saturday. I knew the kids would quit before the end of every game. That was soooooooooo painful to watch. I have seen some bad Auburn teams in my lifetime. I have never seen one play with so little passion. I hope I never see it again.

This is true. The 2012 squad was a 7-8 win team with a band of idiots at the helm. As sad as it is the kids had to quit to help everyone see how dysfunctional the staff was and how bad the team environment had become.

When I was watching the replay yesterday, I was still amazed at Davis's on hand helmet catch on the wheel route at 3rd and long.

I agree with this.
From the pictures posted a page back, the lower one JFF is pulled directly down from his collar.
On the Frost play, he has his hand on JFF's collar and his side/arm and spins him to his side.
Again, you may be right about the "letter of the law". But the two plays ARE easily differentiated.

Just watched the game again. Gary's initial reaction was right. No horse collar.

This the time that A&M lost a home game?
