But attempted murder on the day question November 13, 2008? Yes. Because it wasn't.
Probably not, but a black man who isn't a star football player doing that to a privileged white kid in the south is likely facing some charges (possible even attempted murder with an over zealous prosecutor) in most cases.

Every school has had and probably currently has some thugs on their team that get away with shite because they are football players. In this case it just happened to be a star player that has gone on to continue to get into trouble (and basically get away with it).

ETA: reminds me a bit of the Aaron Hernandez situation except on a less serious scale since he hasn't actually murdered anyone yet (that we know of).

now if that one got swept under the rug by the university I can tell you it had nothing to do with football

cause I heard frat star dropped an N-Bomb on Rolo at which point the Butkus Award Winning Last Dude You Would Ever Want To Say That To got out his car and destroyed the kid

if there's any cover up, and really there's almost certainly not a cover up, it's more a "we don't want preppy rich white kid calling athlete the N-Word at our school with this horrible history" cover up

but that's speculative internet bull shite I'm pulling out of my arse which ain't none of my business

He appealed it and gets to start over. Last time he got convicted of aggravated assault (I think) and appealed it. He allegedly threatened to kill a guy and fired a gun next to his ear while he was begging for his life. The victim stopped cooperating with authorities after the appeal and the charges got dropped.

Ro was a model citizen on and off the field in Tuscaloosa. It's unfortunate that an entitled frat boy who was a known Auburn fan baited Ro into beating his arse one night by being a typical Auburn racist, and Coach Saban prudently backed up his player.

He just became a tPOS the day he walked off of the campus. That's not uncommon at all.

Haven't you noticed, most Auburn fans are obsessed with Alabama. They want to BE Alabama and they never will be.

I remember on that is he accidentally backed into somebody, and some drunk fratty dropped the N-bomb. Not smart to someone who is mentally unstable.

TRUE STORY

I was a frat boy that accidentally back into the biggest player on the Ole Miss Football teams brand new car in the 80's.(Something King i think I can remember his name we was like 6'7" 350 dLine I think.) I was backing out off parking spot in Union and talking to my room mate and just didn't see him. (He said he even hit his horn.)

He got out of his car screamed and yelled and me, I think he banged both his arms on the back of my car like a giant beast etc. Said it is a brand new car.

I remained very calm, I said "Man I am so sorry dude. Totally my fault. I will fix it no problem man. Just bring it up to whatever the dealership was on the back and get them to fix it... Very calmly. As I got back into the car my room mate says" I have no clue how you stayed that calm man. I thought he was going to kill you. I replied "Me too but my life depended on it. (I was not a wimp. I could bench well over 300 lbs etc and was in great shape, bad tempered and could fight. But at 6 foot 185 lbs I was way out of my class. lol)

Of course it cost 1500 bucks. I was last week of semester and I had about 700 bucks to my name afters selling my books. Since I had no money and shite insurance I basically bounced a check to the dealership and left for the Summer. I called them a few days after I got home and made arrangements to pay it and the guy from the dealership laughed and actually cut me a five hundred dollar break.
I remember him asking me "Why didn't just tell us you could not pay it all. "

I told him man there was no way I was telling you I was broke until after you fixed his car, did he see the size of that guy? He laughed agained, no one was harmed or killed or had to see the coach etc.

Of course, if was Bama I assume he would have killed me and they would have buried me somewhere in the black belt.

A guy I played JUCO with some guys from T-Town. We had about 8 guys from the area. They all told a story of two one of our players getting into a fight with Ro and Ro beating him pretty good, until another one of our players hit Ro from behind with speaker. Either way both walked away and it was done and over with. Nobody ran to the police like a little bitch because they got their arse whooped. Seems to be a problem in the "Frat" world these days. Little rich kids start a fight and then run to the police after they get that arse whooped.

It's real simple, if you don't want to get into a fight, don't be around one. Don't try and break one up either, and do not run your mouth, just leave.

I agree. The "frat" guy deserved to almost be run over in the first place. He definitely deserved to have his arse whipped. Stupid "frat" guys.

Sense of entitlement is unreal with kids today. I was in school with a lot of rich brats at Ole Miss but none that would be stupid enough to get in a fight with a big ball player. But I bet their kids would now.

They all think they are above the law and rules don't apply to them. It is scary.

Truth what most of them need is a good arse whipping. I got my arse beat by my dad and in many a fight and have scars to prove it. But over time I learned.

True. Went to HS with Bama QB and at least twice was sucker punched by underclassman and then by rival basketball fan as team left the court at halftime. QB had a great right cross. No one cried, police not called and parents didn't complain or file law suits.

Also know of incident at Orange Beach where another former QB was home with LB NFL teammate and LB knocked a guy out cold for looking at him wrong. No cops, no crying, no press and no law suits.

This really is a soft society that we live in now.
