I'll go with the cat that's backed into 3 NCs and embarrassed the SEC in two Sugar Bowls the last seven years as the "winningest".

One individual's sour grapes. Miles is a player's coach and is universally loved and respected.

What about the Negatigers?

Why do people think Lee playing would have made a difference? I don't think it would have. He never played particularly well against Alabama.

Lee played uncharacteristically poorly for his career against Alabama. The guy who should have been played was Mett. It would have only taken a couple of first downs to change the nature of that game... it was a defensive struggle

And kige the stuff from people saying he should just STFU instead of spouting off on twitter. The coaches aren't perfect but major players like Jefferson, Blackwell, and Randle played terribly by their standards on that day.

So you woulda thrown Mett into the biggest game of the year against a top 2 defense? I mean, I know hindsight is 20/20 and he's easily the best of the 3, but there was no way he was going to enter that game.

When a championship is on the line and you know your backup (Lee) is afraid and your starter (Jefferson) can't throw to an open man (and is busy blaming others for his own dumbshit interception)?

God yes. You have to. I have sympathy for Miles shielding Mett from that but it was the wrong decision.

So mad.

Since you have your dictionary out, look up 'universally.'

TIA.

agreed. tired of people who say this. mett wasn't even particularly good the entire 2012 season either until, of course, the alabama game, which just fuels that fire.

Put in our first year QB who hasn't played a single meaningful snap against the best defense in the country, in the most important game of everyone on the field's life? Yeah that would have went well for LSU and Mett.

I know where you're coming from but JJ was completely ineffective and LSU had zero downfield threat. If not Mett then Lee... if Lee didn't really want to play then Mett had to be the guy. If you are Mett then you're supposed to be ready to play in the event of injuries anyway.

Will is just pissed at the same things R Randal and R Shep were pissed about.

Let the team captain spill the beans on Less.

Those twitter posts are clearly douchie and pretty classless to post, but he's really not wrong in being frustrated with the way that game was coached IMO.

Why now?

It's really fun for LSU fans right now. Finally got a great OC, online coach etc. some true studs in freshman class. we are very optimistic about our future and we are feeling it. He is bitter and wants to throw cold water on our optimism. He's our Chaz Ramsey.

It has been a dark cloud, but I think the excitement over Cam plus a great freshman class this year will bring a new dawn. The last of our players that were any part of 21-0 are gone, the coaching staff, at least offensively, looks very different, and I'm sure Les can look back and take valuable lessons from that fiasco.
