They are lower end SEC teams, but they would be mid level programs in any other conference.

Let's be real, who cares about academics. But if we do, Vanderbilt, Florida, and Georgia are all very good academic schools.

To be fair they may not have won a lot of BCS titles but they sure as hell do have a shite ton of titles in everything else, primarily in sports that the SEC doesn't even compete in.
