it is naive but some people do
and like the bama arguments RE: auburn (esp during the Cam Newton sage) some programs speed a little and some go double the legal limit. Lately Bama hiring girlfriends and relatives for jobs they really shouldn't be getting has been something of an ongoing joke (much to the irritation of people like the head of the Big 12).
by all reports sean patterson is actually qualified for the job that he's been hired to perform. it is also easy to see why he'd be interested in learning from CC at LSU. By modern college football standards this is a clever but completely ethical action.
