Other WRs were playing in a lot more WR friendly offenses that spread it out and few had the talent on D that didn't really need a lot of through the air firepower
It was the same with Julio, he was a danger and guys knew it that had to cover him
It's hard to say about draft position because that all is up to a lot of different factors, but I think he will likely be another 1st round WR and you're right, the SEC has a nice little history the last 10 years with those guys and Amari has the skill set to continue that trend.

Cooper is good but a bit overhyped
He's the only one that I really feel confident is as good as advertised. He gets open. He just always gets open. And he doesn't mishandle many balls.
Henry is the other one I feel pretty good about. I'm not sure how Yeldon and Drake will do behind a weakened line, but Henry might turn out to be a really special back. There are moments when he reminded me of Marcus Dupree in his freshman year. Hope he keeps on working.

Eh, Julio never put up dominant numbers either. The offense just hasn't typically called for it. He has the ability to take a game over though. That's pretty rare.
Julio was clearly dominant though, just overmatched basically every DB he went up against. He did have a big freshman year (like Cooper), drop off that second season and then have a huge junior year where it was no question due to his size, speed and physicality would be a Top 10 pick.
There's no denying Cooper has a ton of talent, but I think he lacks that size to be truly dominant and just overmatch every DB he goes up against. If he is going to be a Top 10 pick he's going to have to completely dominate like Sammy Watkins did.

You're ready for 4 in a row. Good news then.

If not for LSU and Aubs there would hardly be anyone to tell the Bama fans how shitty their team is.
Sorry, best WRs I've ever seen, all of them Top 10 picks no question!

That's weird. We get Florida and Tennessee this year while y'all get Florida and Kentucky. Tell me more about the schedule.
for the first time in ages the schedule is "equal" this year.
but when do we get our 3 years of easy as frick schedules while you get the shite end?

Cooper is about the most dangerous dude I've seen on a 2-yard pass.

i think that is probably his favorite play. I'm not completely sold on Cooper's greatness, but he is definitely a slippery fricker. He seems like he could juke a guy inside a phone booth. But Cooper has bulked up some this year so I'm interested to see how that effects his play.
Yeah, I would just want to know where he is on the field at all times. One little mistake with him and he's gone. LSU has actually done a really good job on him when they have played him (he had 0 catches in 2012 and just three catches and no TDs last year). But I can see the danger with having to deal with him. He broke Julio Jones' freshman records when he was healthy, so that's enough for me.

AJ missed cooper on a post in 2012 by 5 yards. He'd beaten the safety by 10 yards

Yeah, I think that's the only time he has played and been held to 0 catches.

I don't get why people think Alabama's line won't be good. There is more experience size and depth back than last year. 4 players that started the Sugar Bowl, and two very promising newcomers. Grant Hill will be the swingman, playing all 3 spots and he is up to 322 from 303. Even Ryan Kelly, our lightweight center has put on 10 needed lbs.
We need a LT and I think Cameron Robinson will be it, he went through the spring and steadily improved. Incoming JUCO Dom Jackson at 6'7 320 will compete at tackle and guard. This line is ahead of last year at this point.

Austin Sheppard is up to 320, returning starter at RT. Leon Brown started the Sugar Bowl. Alphonse Taylor is Fluker sized at 6'5 335 and ran first team guard in the spring.
Not to mention Bama has 3 solid TE's..I think this line is very underrated.

Pretty fair statement but does Nick even know what to do with skill players? He's a meat and potatoes kinda guy

How's the offensive line and quarterback situation?
qb is a mystery until we see what coker can do.

There skill players are talented every year, but their offense is very basic. They don't really open it up. I would say its all up to the QB (like most teams). Kiffen will likely open it up until a few picks are thrown and Saban will squash that and go back to ground and pound.

Potential is there. Experience isn't.
